@@brittreacts My son was in 6th grade and when I came home from work I walked in the front door and found he was listening to Por Ti Volare, and he was crying. It was amazing! He admitted he didn't know what was being said because it was Italian, but he said it was just so sad!

All I can to say is Beautiful, Andrea has that rich voice, love to hear him sing even though I don't know his language, I actually love listening to some songs in other languages because it adds to the music and makes it that much more beautiful, even if you can't understand the language 🙏🙏🙏

Bocelli is master class for sure, love him. He’s probably best well known for his duet with Celine Dion “The Prayer” which is absolutely beautiful. Fun fact about “The Prayer”…they were to perform this together at the Grammys but Andrea couldn’t make it so David Foster suggested 17 year old novice Josh Groban to fill in for him and it was amazing! Josh Groban has an amazing voice, you should add him to the list. I recommend “Remember When it Rained” or “Oceano”. My son sings Remember When it Rained and sounds so much like Groban, guess that’s why its a favorite but I think he sings it for me cause he knows I love it. Groban’s rendition of “Oh Holy Night” is magnificent.

Yup, he is blind. He was born with bad eyes and got completely blind by 12. And it didn't stop him from getting an incredible singer.
So... message to every disabled person: this guy is proof that it might not stop you from living your dreams.
If you ever get a chance to go to his concerts.. GO!. We went last year and seeing the dancers, His daughter, Mateo, his adult son. It's a great show.

Andrea Bocelli is blind. He is without a doubt one of the best singers of our time and yes, he is speaking Italian singing, Italian and also English.
This is from a concert he did at Lake Las Vegas. My favourite concert of his. I can't understand much Italian outside of your basic words but he still moves me to tears at times.

Fun fact, Andrea Bocelli have his house just a slight walk away from a smaller amphitheater in his town where he used to (don't know if he still does) perform songs for the townsfolk at special occations -or just when he felt like I guess.

And yes.. Bocelli sings in Italian and were blinded as a teenager due to a accident. Kinda makes you sad that he can't SEE how beautiful his wife is and that he never been able to see the faces of his children.. that fact makes "Fall on me" so much better as he sings it together with his song Matteo.

Like many of the videos I watch you narrate you see through just the song. You seemed to be awestruck by the scenery as was I. Somos Novios and Champagne being my two Bocelli favs had to take a backseat to this scenery and getting to see Headley given the opportunity was the cherry. Thank you.

Katherine Jenkins is my favourite. Welsh, like Tom Jones. anyway, when they combined in harmony, i cried my eyes out. i think i needed a good cry. his duets with Sarah Brightman [also Welsh] and Katherine Jenkins are seriously beautiful. if you want to hear some great pure operas duets, there are a couple by Anna Netrebko/Elina Garanca that are truly superb. 'the Flower duet' is probably the best choice. they're my favourite pure opera voices. their soprano/mezzo voices blend like they were meant for each other. perfection.
