Glasgow - Mallaig

Journey north-westwards from Scotland's largest city to a small port on the edge of its mainland. The scenery speaks for itself as this Class 156 threads it's way alongside glens,lochs and vast peat bogs on one of Europe's most incredible rail journeys.

Wonderful, even in the rain! Also wonderful tot see the original station buildings and the line side huts have not been replaced with bus shelters and wrecked by vandals as in England.

Queen St has the 1997? National Express ScotRail branding but it can't be very far into that operation.
