Hi. Please can you help me, i have a problem with the flow meter: the black ball is blocked at the top and don't move up and down when turning the flow button.
I use mine outside at my home sometimes instead of my portable concentrator. Keep it out of sun, rain, high temps, etc. I try not to on high pollen days either, too much dust, etc., so I check outdoor air quality and plan ahead when I can. If I have to I just change the internal intake filter more often.
My Philips everflo has a cover at the back side where it sucks the air in, so even if machine is kept near wall it can take air. But my machine seems to be heating a lot (no alarm tho), should i remove that cover?
I am using the same model, that is a mandatory cover on intake , by keeping the cover on,it will reduce the sound and also stop dust particles to enter in system directly. Keeping the cover always on doesn't heat the machine. The machine need at least 1 feet distance front and back with or without cover on. Hope it is helpful.
Mine didn't come with a cover or the water cup but the black velcro is there to hold the cup/cannister in place. I've been running it without these. It doesn't hurt the machine does it?@techgadgets3714

I had this problem. We took it apart. Turns out the plastic fitting had broken off. We went to Home Depot and got a new fitting and replaced the broken one.
@@elainemayfield5850 oh well, meanwhile i fix it myself. In my case, it was broken an inside cable and i glued it with a plastic soldering solution :))
My yellow light keeps coming on. I changed the filter. I can turn it off and the light is off for about ½ hour or less and it's back on. I have taken the filter cover and there was a whole day without a problem so I was thinking, could it be the aftermarket filter. Right now the yellow light is on. No kinks in the hose, no blockage near the machine.
If the resviour is empty, will the ball float? My dad's oxygen level was very low at a nursing home and I was wondering that could have caused it. Thank you.
My mom just got this model from a different concentrator. It is very loud. Not the running of the machine itself but the puffing of air every few seconds. Is that normal? Or should the puff of air be quiet as well?
my wife is on the same machine that you a showing in your video. we moved to N.C, and a friend gave us a concentrator that is again the same, respirontics evenflo op1. i moved for NV on 3.8.23 so we dont have a pulmonologist yet. however my wifes medicaid has not kicked in yet here in NC. Back to the problem, the machine has power, runs for a minute and starts to put off a sweet smell. then i get a steady red alarm. Based on that can you tell me whats wrong? contact me please. you should know how to find an email on here. if not leave a messege please. i need some help!!! My wife had pneumococcal pneumonia and viral pneumonia at the same time the year before covid. she has dead spots in her lungs.(scarred tissue actually) thank you for your time.
That alarm always serves as a "problem". If the maching isn't working properly, it should alarm. If the alarm is disconnected, you would never hear it then.
Check your oxygen pipes is there any blocking or not. And second there might be low voltage coming from the electrical box. If not keep the Ball above 1 lpm or below 5 lpm this should solve. Still you face issue then it is machine problem.

There is not a "foam filter" on that model for you to clean and/or replace. However, there is a filter on the inside of the concentrator that the company replaces annually.
Can you show how to remove and clean the filter on this particular concentrator please

I have that machine, but mine makes a banging pounding sound. Is this normal??

Please zoom in on what your talking about so I can see it & so I can hear you. You also did not show how to change the filter.

Use between 1lpm to 4 lpm only above 4 ypu dont get good concentration of oxyge . For good oxygen quality put the ball at 3 to 3.5.
