Update. The viewers reminded me that the yellow is in fact the classic paint scheme known from BSA B44. I knew that bike of course but somehow the new scrambler didn't remind me about that. probably it looked a bit different on aluminium tank, or maybe the tank shape caused that. Don't know but I'm correcting myself. And looking from that perspective it makes sense! Thanks guys for the reminder. The colour scheme comes from that motorcycle: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSA_B44
the yellow colour scheme is a nod to the classic b44 unit singles scramblers raced by John Banks and Jeff Smith back in the sixties. the yellow is the retro scheme!
Oh, indeed mate. And of course I saw that paint and that bike. It just looked different on the aluminium tank. But in fact it's a nod. Thanks for reminding me.
Agree with you regarding the modern paint-jobs, they're ok but a trad chrome option would have been nice. Same with the Bear. The original Interceptor had a chrome tank, if I'm remembering correctly, and was a scrambler destined for the US market. Hey-ho, it's all academic, as I would have either one in a heartbeat (ideally both 😄)!
personally i like the look of the scrambler, and the paint is based on some of the old companies scramblers, maybe they should have got these on sale ages ago as the goldstar looks dull to many people

The yellow looks brilliant. I'd rather have the BSA than the RE Bear. It's a single.
I don't mind the paint scheme on those scramblers 👍
me neather ;) however I would like sth else more ;)
Nice , is the BSA as good as the RE and all the nice touches on the RE .
I think at the very moment RE is a bit trustworthy in reliability department but not by much

The yellow colour is based on the old 441 bsa victor,it is a retro colour.
Yep, someone already mentioned that. True and thanks for the reminder

Love a thumper
How come these are not made in England instead of India. I want a British bike not a India bike.
India own the brand.
Yah...cause British made is more realiable than lndian made..
Yes. British made, at British labour costs as well and a pool of oil under it like most of my British bikes in my shed!
😂
