As an American who returns to VN often, I admit to doubts about going to Hanoi. Then, I read the incredible novel “The Mountains Sing” by Nguyen Phan Que Mai and it painted such a compelling view of Hanoi, and especially the “Old Quarter”, that I had to walk those streets and see the many places described in the book. In a single day, on foot, you can see a dozen amazing places - thousand-year-old temples, mythical Hoan Kiem Lake and its ancient “Turtle Tower” , the streets named centuries ago for the ancient trades practiced there, and so much more… Tourism has put a tacky veneer over the area, but just underneath the grit and grime is the feel of a city founded 1200 years ago that stubbornly endures …
It’s an amazing city, isn’t it?
The quality of your videos is amazing, Hanoi's weather in autumn is very pleasant, enjoy it.
Oh thank you so much!
I was just in Hanoi on Sept 15th. Loved 💗 the vibes there and a less humidity than Ho Chi Minh city. Will come back again to visit the Women’s Museum, train street and look for more sidewalk street pho! this time Bun Ca for breakfast 🎉
✨✨✨ Hanoi is definitely a place you can visit again and again!
Nice video Rita! My husband and I will be in Hanoi in a few days. Can't wait 😊

I was in Ho Chi Minh City in May 2023 coming from Los Angeles CA and i'll be in Hanoi in November 2023 then to Manila and staying at Bonifacio Global City

Your voice is so soothing. I swear I am watching your video for the third time and not because I wanted to re-watch it, it's just I fell asleep the first two times 😀.

PS. I also love your lippies color hehe
Yey, so happy to hear! And thank you, I love a good lipstick! ❤️
Vietnam has a complete other side unlike these videos. It is a dangerous place to travel in, dirty, hot , dusty, smelly, trashy, unsanitary and disease-ridden country full of inconsiderate and dodgy people. Do not be fooled by these all glamour/ all is wonderful videos. You get hurt or ill here and need go to the hospital-better have lots of cash or international insurance that pays IMMEDIATELY or they just push you in the hall until a payment is made. No money-no treatment. These videos never tell you this side and so many or nearly all seem so naive to believe Vietnam is heaven on Earth. Better have typhoid and hepatitis vaccines before you even get here! Most people get sick in about 2-3 days from the unsanitary food and things they touch. Dengue fever anyone? FYI.
🤨 all countries have their good and bad sides. All will be ok 👌
I enjoyed my Hanoi trip!! The food, people, culture… love it!!! Cant wait to be back :)

When did you visit Hanoi? I had heard that this street is closed down for tourists
I’m planning a trip to Hanoi next month and if this is open, that be great
It’s technically open. You just have to buy a drink from one of the cafes to “enter” the railway section at the moment.

Love this video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
Thank you!
Me travel in jan to viatnam.i am vegetarian.pl tell me about shopping in Vn
I think you can find all food options but you would need to target these restaurants specifically. Not all restaurants will have vegetarian options
Amazing food - Shows a cute dog. Please tell me this was an unfortunate editing situation.
Both the food and the dog were intentional 😊
you are beautiful too, have a good day
Thank you ☺️
Wow u pretty 😍
Thank you 😊
WE ARE FLYING TO HANOI TODAY!!!! Sat in the airport watching and we CANNOT WAIT! We post similar content too :) Our most recent vid we visited a Chocolate factory in Bali th-cam.com/video/4IzNoEYxNbg/w-d-xo.html 🙏🏼❤
Enjoyyyy! ✨✨
Việt nam ha noi tra vel ok
As a Vietnamese, it’s a shame to say Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere, scam and steal.
The food would be more enticing if the vendors practiced food safety and sanitation.
I still love your country! ✨
Foreigners must have a Vietnamese drivers license to drive a moto, and also have insurance for the moto, if not you will be liable for any accidents -your fault or not. Also, Vietnam is an extremely dangerous country to travel in and you should have your own insurance that pays IMMEDIATELY or immediate access to $5,000. You will only be received by a hospital, but no live saving care given if they do not have payment or down-payment first. Also need vaccinations for typhoid, hepatitis etc here.
Vietnam is safe as. What a crock of shit🤣
Vietnam is NOT dangerous. Driving a motorcycle can be dangerous, but otherwise it's a really safe place to go to. I lived there for 4 years and found it much safer than the US
I did not have any issues at all ☺️
