This is why when you play a team like UConn, you have to play a perfect game. That means that you get stops, force turnovers and make shots when it’s there. This team is bound to repeat because they don’t get complacent with their approach to each game and they stayed consistent on both ends of the court
If you dont rebound against Uconn, you dont stand a chance. They are so dominate on the offensive and defensive boards.

There was also a point in the game where he commented on Spencer forcing it in the lane because he isn't a good shooter off the dribble, which is wildly inaccurate as well.

San Diego state has one MAIN weapon and UConn has FIVE+ weapons. Deadly team because if one or two players off they got three or more players to step up. They share the rock UConn is a full team effort and amazing on both ends of the court. A dominating team that will be hard to beat and because how much talent they have on their roster they stay consistent

Proud of SDSU. Would’ve been nice to see them go deeper but they fell into the bracket with UCONN who was relentless and all over the place making shot after shot..I they were exceptional tonight. Hats off to them and already looking forward to Aztec ball next season.

Dan hurley is a GENIUS when it comes to finding talent that fits his system! Bringing in newton and Spencer is going to give him back-to-back Championships.
And people were saying UConn had the toughest bracket out of everyone despite being the #1 overall seed and stating SDSU was going to close/win it by single digits. Casuals man, casuals.
Not a UConn fan but they have been getting the most faded the most this year as the current regining national champion. When is that blue blood acknowledgement supposed to start kicking in?
@desiner72hd41 They're not a P5 school so they pundits would like to not acknowledge them, but they have no choice now. It kills them that a non P5 school (and that it's UConn) have won so many BBall championships. I have to give Dan Hurly his flowers. He has done a heck of a job with this program. It is operating at levels reminiscent of their glory days in the old Big East.
They were picked to win by like 35% of brackets on ESPN.
@@chaos1reigns please correct me if I am wrong (open to discussion on this) but my understanding is that CBB is P6, the 5 we already know + the Big East in basketball only. Whether people like it or not, UConn is 100% a blue blood whether they go on to win this one as a repeat or not.
There may also be some disagreement here but if a school begins to show consistency or have a history in the CBB, they should be acknowledged as a power program/contender. In other words, if you can hang and play with the big boys you passed the test.

UCONN: great defense, great rebounding on offense and defense, great movement on offense, great coaching, and offense can come inside, outside and on the fast break. Hard to stop. They do go through some cold shooting spells, but there is enough to overcome it. Hard to beat.

I havent watched UCONN all year but after 30+ years of playing and watching basketball, I know a Final 4 team when I see one. I definitely see them playing in the Final.
Fr they are something special. I wasn’t really tuned into them all year but I’m awake now and I see the hype with this team. I’m an SDSU fan but UCONN will be my vote to win it all they are very good

Man uconn is so well coached, they always stay focused on just execution and playing basketball. They move together and stay in unison, I don't see anybody beating them, their gonna win their second consecutive championship, unless Purdue gets them, which is the only team left I think has a shot.

The sites for UConn has been a major plus for them being in Connecticut first couple games where in Brooklyn a little over 2 hours drive and then they play in Boston which is just a 1 hour and 30 minutes virtual Home games for them and their fans to show out,
Being the overall #1 seed has its privileges.
Well with the results and huge margins of victory it could of been played in Alaska and it wouldn’t of mattered

Dawg. UConn has about 4 or 5 high flying athletic guards that can just get a bucket. That is scary. Usually teams have 2 or 3 guys max that can just create a shot. When you have 5+ that’s unfair. Then you got about 2 more guys who can just hit the pop up 3. Crazy

They gave UCONN a “tough”bracket for enhanced entertainment, to avoid dozing off or turning the channel … every game is more electric than the last one and will draw novices deep into the 2nd half … I see a lot of skill out there, WOW! Like 6 or 7 players can score 20 if need be … you will get your ankles broken and posterized, then hit with a barrage of three pointers, with scrappy defense to boot … great job Coach Hurley, recruiting and keeping the team focused #GoHuskies🐾

Well, to be fair they should beat a 5 seeded San Diego state team. San Diego state isn’t as good as last years team, they really have no offense. The real test for UConn will be against Illinois who has a great offense, and then against probably Purdue

@pp3k3jamail Big East is far from trash. Villanova (National Champion 2016, 2018) UCONN (National Champ 2011, 2014, 2023 and likely 2024) Creighton and Marqutte are always good. It's the smartest, most disciplined conference. It stands against any conference.

Well I can guarantee any UConn fan not to worry about any big10 teams in the tourney. No big10 team can match that. I watched every Michigan state game, and no one in the big 10 is remotely close to this level. If it’s Purdue that meats UConn in the ship, I got UConn by 20
Didn’t see many highlights from SDSU if any, UConn handed their heads to them what an embarrassment for San Diego.
Idk want to sound like a noob but this might be the best team we've had OVERALL. the ben n oak team had studs, kemba team had KEMBA, obviously rip and amin were nice af but this team has a perfect working roster. Just look at what you give up when Diarra comes in, NOTHING! We run deep, and I've never seen a team that has so many assist on their baskets. I'd pick the past teams over this one for stars (castle is gonna be nasty, and Newton is the man) but you can't compete when we run 9 guys out there fresh, focused and ballin!

When I watch a game, I have eyes. I don't need announcers to narrate every single point and say the obvious. Less is better.
This is the trend in all announcing. The best leave space, allow the crowd in. It is a lost art form, probably because there are too many ex-players.
