Nice blade control. All the haters out there don't run A blade or they would have noticed.Love the feeling of rolling over the break over.Keep up the good work.
Dug through the archives and found this gem. Chris, you really know how to trigger the "extremists". You made so many of them feel good about themselves by bashing you. Keep up the good work. You are the best!
I love these little kamatsu dozer. these days I'm always on a John Deere 700 to a 850 . seems like that's the norm for us lately. there shitty if you ask me. doors always falling apart and they keep over hearing but other than that strength wide there good. these little kamatsus are cool machines though. for whatever reason I had to do a job with one. honestly it's one of the best machines I have ever been on and I have been in alot of different dozers
i read the comments man were is yalls dozer videos holy sheesh i heard it all right on this video,Wow man i dont think any body on here has even driven a dozer let alone operated one!!!
Well we're too busy operating in real dangerous places, not recording ourselves on the dirt mound in the corn field. Going down it the going around and back up and down the side again, like a kid playing on a slide on the playground.
some time ago a friend told me that his dad worked a CAT in an open pit mine and one of the first things they were taught was how to safely go down the bank by pushing a big chunk of dirt in front of them, all the way down. Perhaps someone w/ experiance could comment.
yaduck9 your friends old man was right. Ive been operating track dozers in an open pit mine in Arizona for the past decade and the only way to go from bench grade down to bench grade is with a good bite of muck in front of you
@@jbonegwit's a little steep, but it's just someone messing around on the dirt pile out in the field. Do that a thousand feet up a hill side and bail off. That's getting extreme. Or do it on solid rock. That's is when it starts getting scary.
isn't the internet fun? Reading the comments you see how no matter what you do or experience, there is always someone (or a whole lot of them) who have done better, have experienced worse, are greater, bad-asser or whatever they think they are ..... yet, hardly anyone of them has a video of what they brag about to actually show it. ;)
Ya well most of us get up and go to work everyday. And we do normal stuff like this everyday. Some times a hundred times a day. What do you do for a living. ??
I did this one time on a D10N in an open pit mine. I was stripping overburden off of coal. Make the slope so steep the dozer can barely back up it and use the power of the motor and the weight of the machine to move MASIVE amounts of dirt
If you ever need to lose your faith in humanity, just read a comment section. Funny though, I checked a random selection of pages from the nastiest, meanest arseholes commenting and not a damn damn one of the "badasses" have 1% of the videos (or time in the seat) as Chris has...Keyboard cowboys the lot of them...
so called operators on here bashing this guy.. just remember that was extreme when u first started too takes time to learn but I garrantee I've done more extreme shit than all y'all keyboard warriors and to the guy on dozer it will get easier in time
That looks like more than the 30 degree slope needed to maintain lubrication. Plus my luck would be a safety meeting to listen to rollover stories. You are so lucky that you are in a family business.
Glad I finally found the video where all the professional dozer operators are hanging out! Some of you may be pro's but your pathetic little people who troll on someones video and try to belittle them to try and make yourselves look smart. For societies sake I wish your parents would've complimented you more and I pray you didn't/aren't raising your kids to be like you.
TheMango121 No reason for sideways on that type of materials Wouldn't work boss. You would be at the bottom real fast and your track would be on the slope.
Nice blade control. All the haters out there don't run A blade or they would have noticed.Love the feeling of rolling over the break over.Keep up the good work.
Yeah it doesn’t look extreme from the camera but that guys feeling the grade in that dozer lol

He’s dam good on that thing. U go man !!!
My daddy retired as a finish grade man on a dozier. 45 yrs of it. My dad was one of the best.
Lovely lil' dozer though..a really neat little machine just a handy size. Nice vid.
All ya need is dirt below and on the sides and you can ride any slope. Chris knows what he's doing

9 years later Betty needed here. Ha ha
Gives a new meaning to the word, Pucker power!!

@@HIGHPLAINSDRIFTER01 I though some kid had pinched this machine for a laugh. What was the operator trying to achieve? 🙃
Still waiting on the extreme part
I was just thinking the exact same thing ..so funny
As someone that’s never drove a dozer it certainly looks extreme to me. 😬

this is everyday operation when you dig stock tanks for farmers.
This gave me a pucker factor of 8 😂
Everyone has to learn some time. Cut the guy some slack.
Every operator has their own technique to get the job at hand done, and generally experience prevails without being hard on equipment. Everyone today

I've worked slopes that steep in Uni-Loaders. It's extreme in one of those. But for a dozer? No problem at all
Slip Slidding away cool dozing
hes learning. lucky he didnt flip though. stop critisizing the guy fellas. we all started somewhere. keep pishing dude.
I did some extreme dozing last night when I was asleep
This dozer is so hard-working.
10 of 10 for form.
that is a sweet little dozer
Title is correct - I fell asleep quickly.
at least its not a pond bank....with the pond full of water?
Sliding down must have been fun
1:10 when you go that liiiiittttttllllle bit too far on a push haha done that a time or two
Next time ! CLIFF !!!

also that is a long ways from a 1:1..nice little tractor though!
Crap. Wrong button. What I was saying was that a 1:1 is the same as a 45° slope right?
so called operators on here bashing this guy.. just remember that was extreme when u first started too takes time to learn but I garrantee I've done more extreme shit than all y'all keyboard warriors and to the guy on dozer it will get easier in time
Guarantee eh?
I garrantee that he was running a machine before you were in your dad's sack.
+Alex Schultz oh ya? You think so eh bud? You know how fucking dumb your comment is?
what a fucking mong!
Your young smooth non wiskered baby face tells me your short story.
you figured it out at the end... nice
Hey Chris this just popped up on my page ,,, still trying to figure out Big Brass or Copper , Great video clip ..
Pretty sure he didn't mean to go that far the first time down the hill
I felt the need to try backing up it 1 time
you need a gopo for this exstream dozing lol
That's such a sick little dozer, I love it. Is this on the pond project?
Where does the extreme dozing come in?????
JUST !!! YOU !! TUBE !! FALSE !! ADVERTISING !! THAT !!
The majority of his videos are on a flat surface. So a hill beyond the horizonal would be extreme for Chris.
That was 😎!!
That looks like more than the 30 degree slope needed to maintain lubrication. Plus my luck would be a safety meeting to listen to rollover stories. You are so lucky that you are in a family business.
I guess this driver is learning?
Awesome when it is dry
Probably didn't even spill his coffee or drop his cigarette.
Wish the video was longer:))
1:20 is badass!

two thumbs up
Ok I thought thats what it was, just wasn't sure, thanks!!
Where is the extreme part??
1:10 weeeeeeeeee!!!
yes , bench that off, dumb
2:40 - Oh shit i can get back up...oh well GIT'R DONE!
Give me an Oliver bulldozer anyday.
TEASPOON !! DIRT !! PUSHER !! EQUALS !! ENGINE !! JUST !! MANAGES !! TO !! WORK !!!
for every foot it goes horizontally it goes 1 foot vertically
Thank you.
that was so extreme I wet my pants
That was some bad ass dozer drivin my friend,
Loved it
I thought it was awesome.......
Hi letsdig18,
Have you got a new tool ?
That sounds hard
A mouse can eat an elephant completely with one bite at a time.
I am no geometry expert but a 1:1 slope is the same as a 459
Looks like fun
I reckon you need a bigger tractor there bro.
Normal day
looks quite soft, i reckon a loader would be a better tool for that
go back with the 220 and climb it!
😃
45 degree angle I think
Depends on what the definition of is “is”.
Bull in a china shop springs to mind
what oil do you put on idler shaft?
travis stewart caster oil
Now that’s fun
looks like a drunk man operating it to me LOL
ride the wave
Dumb question, but what is a 1:1 slope?
eh ive done this b4 , its not that scary , its when you spin around and go back up
interesting.
Need results of the job
Always a good time pushing dirt
SO !! START !! PUSHING !! WITH !! THE !! HAND !! SHOVEL !! AND !! LEAVE !! THE !! DOZER !! ALONE !!!YOU !! FUEL !!! WASTER !!!
Goodtimes
bet you couldnt squeeze a fart out after the first pass if you tried. nice job there
Sooo....... here in AK we call this just another Tuesday. Sorry guy your video is about as extreme as oat bran.
mike ice k
Badboy!!
I think you played around enough. Now get some work done!
Just enjoy it for wat it is guys. Not all of us r operators ok
1:20 = one lucky guy. I know their must be a reason to waste cat time running down a pile of fill you are going to haul out again later..
SO !! WASTE !! HAND !! SHOVEL !! ! TIME !!!! THEN !!!
I DOZED off watching this BULL
AT :25 thats what my asshole would be doing. crazy haha
It not hard todo that type of stuff, put seat belt on, get a bit of dirt on the blade and go for it. I've been doing that stuff all week
MAYBE !! TIME !! FOR !! HAND !! SHOVEL !! TOO !! RIGHT !! NOW !!!!
lol, cheveydirtjumper!
Get on it sideways and you can call it extreme.
TheMango121 No reason for sideways on that type of materials Wouldn't work boss. You would be at the bottom real fast and your track would be on the slope.
Only thing you should be doing on a slope is spreading or scraping.
@@balattiboys THAT'S ! WHAT !! I'M !! CROSSING !! MY !! FINGERS !! FOR !! YOU ! TO !! SHOW !! US !! ALL !!
