Christmas was born in the heart of God...........it is only complete when it reaches the heart of man. "For God so loved....... not just loved, rather "so loved"...the world that He gave His only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER would "believe" in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life".....for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ( amen)

"O Holy Night" (also known as "Cantique de Noël") is a well-known Christmas carol. Originally based on a French-language poem by poet Placide Cappeau, written in 1843, with the first line "Minuit, chrétiens! c'est l'heure solennelle" (Midnight, Christians, is the solemn hour) that composer Adolphe Adam set to music in 1847. The English version is by John Sullivan Dwight.
Adolphe Adam also wrote the music to the ballet “Giselle”.

My mum loved André. I didn't realise he did international concerts until it was way too late, or I would've taken her to one. Now, sometimes when I am cooking, I watch it to remind me of Mum, and I imagine being there with her, and dancing and laughing. I feel like I am with her again in those moments.
Doesn't matter what faith you believe in or non at all you can't possibly not be moved by this beautiful piece of music. Simply breathtaking.

I left church disappointed today. It is Christmas and the little children performed for us. It wasn’t a carol but a modern up beat praise song. There seems to be a disregard for carols to be taught little children, by the younger generation. Carols teach in a beautiful way the glorious birth of Jesus and scripture which is so special and meaningful of the event. It is not about Santa although I’m not against him bringing joy to children. The most simple and touching carol I sang as a child was
away in a manger. The line and bless all the little children in Thy tender care is a prayer for the world. The ladies sang my favourite carol. So thankful for this beautiful uplifting carol sang with tenderness. Thank you 🙏🏻

Christmas is too commercialised nowadays! A real shame as Christmas is more spiritual than Santa Claus , Christmas trees etc. Mind you I don't mind them as I too decorate my house but besides these I also put a crib & baby Jesus in a manger!
