@spivey porkchop In my Opinion the best place for you to move would be south Albania or North but i would recommend south somewhere close to the mountains at Gjirokaster or Permet with farms etc..We are the champions in quality if Milk and Cheese there in all of Europe.

i really loved Albania also especially the north and south Albania were so awesome the beaches were outstanding. As for religion i was also shocked there were orthodox albanians muslim and catyholics all living in peace and they dont even care to ask eachother what religion they belong muslims drink beer there marry Christians and other way around very nice country with very ancient history

When some one talks about religion they should keep in mind that in Albania religion comes second or not at all...in Albania people identify as Albanians not as Muslims or Catholics or orthodox... We are bound by blood not religion... Religion is used for political purposes by our neighbours... Such as the anatollian Greek gypsies and the serbs...to divide our people... . We are an ancient nation and as I said... We are Albanians and united by the duble headed Eagle....

I visited Tirana in 2019, just before the lockdown. I was pleasantly surprised. The locals where friendly and made an Englishman welcome. Even more so when I explained I was not American. Not many people speak English so I accepted the challenge and travelled around town using only the local busses. I made it. great fun.

Albania may have her own problems like every country. But as you see albanian people are really amazing. If you are tourist or you want to live there we will make sure you are happy and enjoy the stay there. We are lovely people and hardworking. Went last weekend and had a brill time. Made a friend called Elvis who showed us his small town and drove to meet us in Tirana the next night. Going back for Easter with the gf and some friends.

Actually it is a pre planned program with a travel agency here
The reason I chose albania also was that surprisingly it is without a visa for Egyptian citizens this summer and me and my family are very busy nowadays and we want a vacation without the headache of preparing a shcengen visa so I found that albania is a good alternative
By the way I really recommend u to come and visit egypt u will never regret I know that egypt unfortunately has a bad reputation lately but the reality that it is very safe especially if u visited sharm el sheikh or hurgada if u are a sea lover you can stay in a 5 star resort which wont be so expensive as compared with other countries or you can visit luxur and aswan "the land of gold " in pharos days and btw the only thing that may bother u is people trying to sell u things but they will never hurt you they may be insisting but they wont ever hurt you they are only trying to sell anything even for Egyptian themselves by the way
Me and my family live in Alexandria which is not a touristic country and more developed than many cities in egypt when we go to luxur or sharm el sheikh for a vacation we are considered as a tourist and people act the same way as they act with foreigners by trying to sell us things but nothing happen bad and sometimes we actually buy from them to help them as some people in my country are facing difficult situations economically
Last tip I want to say to have a trip of a life time in Egypt is that the best way to see it is only one day at the capital which cairo to visit the pyramids and the Egyptian museum and then dont stay in it and go to luxur if you love history and temples aor sharm el sheikh if u love sea
Egypt will be so exotic and special
And as a traveller I love the feeling of exotic trips even if I love Europe and the us more still I choose to go to Thailand or south Africa once every two three years for a change so u can consider Egypt the same
But the difference in Egypt is that it is one of a kind 🙌❤
@@goingtoworld He is from the Middle East. He appears to have taken the decision to visit Albania based on your misrepresentation of the country. The shock he will have once he is here. Many Middle Easterners visit Albania based on Wikipedia religious statistics and somehow develop an immature sympathy, only to visit it and find out that the people are totally irreligious if not anti religion, and get disappointed. They get disappointed because of their ignorance, ignorant media and not really knowing the people and its culture.

That was actually a well made travel documentary. I just wanted to add that during in the 70s, during communist albania, things were as fine as they could be. They had a lot of problems, but after the coup most of their services and industry got privatized, with the real estate business currently being a huge problem in Albania trying to constantly raise prices by especulation, etc. It is important to clarify that they had barely no unemployment during the 70s, romani and egyptians were actually part of the society (which now days they clearly aren't anymore), along other things. It is important to show that capitalism, for the Albanian people, promised hope and gave them nothing in return

Too many people feel scared to visit albania because they thinking like is dangerous place wich is not true. If i had to choose one country to live it will be albania for sure. The best people i have never ever meet in my life. They are helpful and the hospitality is on top and they don't care if you are Muslim or Christian etc. Really I'm in love with that country

But I want to say that only one sentence you said 10:07 made me understand that you again know very little about Albania and why you made a tour around it. Those words are out of place in a country that has the beginnings of its European civilization as early as the 12th century before Christ, such as the ancient city of Epidamus (Durres today), Shkodra, Bylis, Butrinti, etc. that I cannot mention here that you will spend more than an hour writing. In the German encyclopedia of the 18th century, for example, it is written that the Albanians are the first Christians in Europe. The history and the many conquests in this country with an indigenous people in the Balkans make us have three religions today in modern days. Cool video but I must say, it's not nice introducing Albania through the minaret speakers. Religious traditions are leftovers from the middle ages and not something Albanians take pride of. Seeing foreigners put religious stuff as the face of the country is utterly disgusting. Sorry.

The ones who think it is cool to capture images which seem exotic without knowing much what those images represent to the locals or the lack of representation. I see this ignorance a lot from Italian tourists and I am so perplexed. I am an Italophone myself. There are half a million Albanians in Italy representing all walks of life there. It has to be a really dumb Italian not to get an understanding of the social norms and behavior of Albanians and in particular their general lack of religious identity. I am glad that the new generations are going away from the Italophone influence by seeing elsewhere, like Germany, Switzerland...

1.Speaking of history Skenderbeg,he fought off the turkish invasion and all its influence which put our country backwards for 450 years not to mention its forceful conversion of religion.
2.We are in the middle of a judicial reform(first of its kind in all western Balkans,Turkey, Ukraine,Moldova,Georgia which all are candidates for EU)and its hitting corruption hard. These mosques, remnants of Turko-Erdoganish autocratic eastern influences are not helping, which bring some undesired mentality right now.Christianity was established since 4rth century AD in Albania by choice of populace!What are these mosques taking all attention I don't understand.
3.Regarding religion by law we are a secular state.Most of us might believe in God but they don't follow specific religion.
