Tackling the placement of the second shipping container for our two level shipping container shop is not without its challenges. If our measurements aren’t accurate, this could be an epic fail! Watch as we work diligently to ensure this massive structure is put into position without serious problems!

I'm sure Ladley would enjoy the time with her grandparents. Such precious memories 💞
Lydia is laying dimes with that welder !!! 👍🏻
🪙🪙🪙🪙
Come on y’all, you can’t show us those Cajun Stuffed Chicken Legs without promising to do a cooking tutorial video on those. I hope that request can come true someday in all your spare time.😉😂 Really enjoying watching the container project.
Jim & Lydia, I enjoyed this video. I can see my PPE concerns are being addressed. Great job on the container and staying safe, you both are the best.
Well showin y’all’s lunch was mean, just plain mean……. 😂 kidding, looked great 🙂
Lol! Thanks Andrew!
Offsetting the plates was a fantastic idea!! Are we sure that Jim was able to weld as good as Lydia? LOL. Love how this is coming together. Great job!
Shhhhhh try not to draw attention to Jim’s welding 😂
@@CajunCountryLivin 😮😂
Welding outside in August heat.....gee...what other fun things can we find to do? Oh, we can go over to Mom's for some fried chicken and leave all our viewers drooling on their computer screens. That's just mean ya'll!!!!😂🥰
Lydia the welding queen!!
😏😏😏
Oh man! That was a dirty trick ya'll. Stuffed drum sticks. Looks so good. Thanks for teasing
Thanks Lou!
Totally mean trick. I drooled on my keyboard. 😂
Jim, I can't believe you wore Camo and plaid before Labor Day!!! LOL
😂😅
I'm bad about not using levels. Always good to have a reminder to use them.
Thank you. I appreciate y'all and all of the wonderful knowledge. Awesome 🎉
Thank you Marie!😍
You guys are awesome!! ❤❤
Thank you!
Containers are looking good!! Thanks for another great upload!!
Can’t wait to see the finished product
Yall made quick work of gettng that container moved into place... Well it looked quick but I bet it was a chore. Im looking forward to the debate of whose welds hold up when you set it down on those plates!!! LOL. Lastly... That chicken looked SOOOOO GOOOD!! Have a great week yall!
It really was in the heat!! Trying to get outside to work when it’s not hot seems to be impossible right now. Have a great week Bodie!
Great job welding! Knee pads would help🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Yes!!
I have been thinking about getting a mini split for my shop, looks like the way to go. The welding had to be way too hot 🔥. That fried chicken looks really good.
It works CRAZY good!!
Nice welding Lydia! You are a jack of all trades.
Thanks!
Perfect is the enemy of good. You can miss a lot of good searching for the elusive perfect.
Very true!!
Holy Stuffed Chicken Legs Batman !!!!!
Yes!!!!
Hum,🤔
Just wondering why you showed Lydia s welding results and not Jim's 😊
I think you both make an awesome team.
I'm going on a sabbatical for a month or so. I have to give up TH-cam for awhile.
It's going to be hard not getting to see you two.
But I'll definitely will be catching back up afterwards.
Since I'm not mad at you for showing that mouth watering chicken. I hope you won't be mad at me for telling you our weather is only in the mid 80s for the next 10 days
But several are going to be rainy😊
We will be missing your insightful comments each week Mr. Jim, and will be looking forward to your return!
That was a great idea off-setting the holes on the plates. Ya'll are making great progress. Have a great weekend! :)
Thank you Gary!!
Woohoo ❤❤❤ way to start my day .my favorite Cajuns are in the house.
Thanks Lorraine!😘😍
Great welding! I liked the railroad spike grounding stem hootis. I'd bet I've driven a few 100k of those things into ties back in the day. Really haven't been looking forward to seeing another one, but in this case, it's acceptable. Then you had to go and show me some Cajun Stuffed Chicken Legs! 🤤Thanks for another awesome episode! Stay cool!
Wow! Thats really cool to know Charles! At least this one you can see from a distance. Haha.
@@CajunCountryLivin The best one I've ever seen!😁

Happy Thursday to y'all.
Keep being Cool !! Enjoy the rest of y'all's week and go have some fun this weekend. 😍
Thumbs Up on adding Cajun Music to the video. 👏👏🎶
Thank you Thomas!! 😍
I hope you have a great weekend as well!! 🥰
@@CajunCountryLivin 👍👍😀 Lydia
welding in crocs yes indeed got to love it
You two always seem to put a smile on my face. Thanks for sharing
Our pleasure!
Hi Lydia and Jim, it is great to see my favorite cajun family!! Great job of welding Lydia, as usual. I can't help but wonder if the next episode is going to include some sort of quality control check of your and Jim's welding to avoid the problems encountered on the container moving hootis 😉 I like Jim's PPE selection. That was a great plate locating hootis decision and it worked out very well. It is so nice to have family that everyone can count on for support and help when needed. Tell your mother-in-law that those chicken legs looked absolutely delicious. I must confess that is the first time I have heard of stuffed chicken legs, I'll bet there are great. I look forward to seeing you guys on the next one. Have a great week and be safe out there! Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
I hope for your "people" door you are getting an out swing, steel door, in a steel frame, fire door. Then weld the frame into the container wall and weld the bottom of the hinge pins or make sure it has security hinges. Out swing will make it harder for anything to knock the door open in a storm, and it won't eat floor space when used.
I have mentioned it before,,my dad was a welder,,he wore starched and ironed pants and long sleeve shirts...he would come home and pour sweat out of his boots. I have pics of him down in a hole upside down practically welding. YA'LL GOT THAT CONTAINER STUFF GOIN ON ...MAKING A SHOPS GREAT AGAIN...FOREVER SHOPS. lov from south alabama.
Y’all need to share that chicken recipe! It looked as good as those welds of yours!
Coming soon!
WAIT!!!! Deep fried stuffed chicken legs? Where's the recipe? Man that had my mouth watering, and I don't really like fried chicken anymore. That's not fair that you didn't share 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lydia that the reason you love Jim so dearly because of his mother as your sweet mother-n -law everybody mother -n -law not as seet ❤❤
Awesome guys
Thank you!!
AAAA, need a recipe please. Lets have FULL cover when welding, less trip to the Doc for skin cancer that way and put up some shade when welding, it helps.
😊
That looks awesome, you should post the recipe…lol
I was thinking the same thing! Let me see what I can do!
@@CajunCountryLivinthat would be awesome ‼️❣️
That chicken looks so good, makes me miss my mom. She made the best fried chicken.
I was great! Mom’s are so special!
He yall, Louisiana is kind of like central Florida with it's heat. The last welding job I had, I sat in the truck doing paperwork a bit while 7 union welders and 7 rented commercial portable welders welded pour in place steel forms for concrete. One form was 17 feet x 14 feet x 9 1/2 feet tall box x 3/4 inch steel plates. Two other forms were each 9 1/2 feet tall at one end and 350 feet away at the other end 2 feet tall. They were 2 feet wide and set 5 feet apart. These two held up a million pound car shredder and the sloping conveyor cars were placed on and sent up to the shredder. The big box held up the 7,000HP electric motor powered by 14,700 volts AC. 9 days in the heat, I supplied tents, fans and water mist for the welders. I went every day to buy / exchange an oxygen and an acetylene tank and 2 - 50lb. cases of welding rod. The entire job took 6 1/2 weeks and used approx. 1,000 cubic yards of concrete. Total cost of the job was $6,400,000.00. Central Florida 2002. We didn't have any chicken, but a fantastic restaurant made us a sandwich everyday called The Heart Attack. It was butter grilled Texas toast, 4 egg omelet, 6 slices of bacon & cheese. Very filling for $8.00.
Holy smokes! That was quite the project to say the least!!
Great video good to see y'all
that chicken looked so good
It sure was!
You two need to get knee pads or a cushion for when you’re kneeling on cement. We love you!
Yes we do!! Sending love!!💌

Save me some.
😊😊😊
That's sorry showing me that chicken lol!
🤪🤪🤪
Great job guys love it
Thank you!
Why are the metal plates raised above the level of the concrete pad before you weld them to the exposed pipe? Wouldn't that create the potential for the supported weight to break the weld and destroy your connection to the slab? (PS - I am not a pro. I had to grab the dictionary to write this post.)
We have the elevation set by instrument. We will be injecting a fill medium inside the void to transfer the load while being able to maintain our elevation. Great question!!
Now I’d love to try some of that chicken..looked so good!!
Them chicken legs looked real nice, yummy.
They sure were!
Man, that deep fried chicken 🍗 looks so delicious, man. I could have eaten it all up 😋! Man, the shop is getting closer and closer! Y'all keep up the hard work 💪🏻! Please stay cool and hydrated! But as always, we love y'all friends, and we will see y'all next week 🙏🙏🙏

Hello, I hope you didn't mind me asking if you could get the recipe for the chicken legs from your mother in law please. They look good and love the Channel

I've been a welder for 25 years and I gotta say...Girl can weld! Much prettier than the guys I have to work with too.
don't forget to treat the rust!!!
Y'all must have super tough knees to, first be kneeling on cement wearing shorts, and second that cement is HOT!
Getting tougher every day!
Aside from the food 🌽 let’s see Jim’s welds
Question, are you planning to fill the small gap under the plates with a high-tensile grout? Not only would it give a little support under the plate but will also keep water from under them.
What a tees looked good 👍 😅😅😅
How about that recipe for the stuffed chicken legs???
Working on it!
It's called a crane, that's the only way to easily get the two containers on top. All other options end up being more costly in the long run...lol
Those chicken legs look delicious, how about a recipe?
Great idea!
Cajun Stuffed Chicken Wings where have you been all my life.
Why is that aircon indoor unit so low? 😂 We have our about ceiling height 😊 The best welder on the job😊 And it ain’t Jim😂 Good job, until the next video ❤
Never heard of stuffed fried chicken legs. what is it stuffed with? look delish 😋
I din’t remember seeing the midget human in the last couple of videos. She’s a fast learner and I thought she might have been competing in the junior go cart series in another town.
Hi! She will be in the next one. She is growing like a weed. 😍
You can not end a vid like that. Just wrong on so many different levels!!! 🤣😂🤣😂👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎

where are the A/C made and what is the warranty? do you have solar to power it with batteries? that would be a good set up if works to fill your needs.
