Your new york footage was so awesome and the shots were pretty nice too. 👌
Thanks Daniel! I’m thinking of making a more dedicated video of my NYC trip 😆 showcase my XPan and Minolta XD photos too
Great to see this update. Loved your results. Best wishes for the season.
Thanks so much! Best wishes to you as well 😄
You’re amazing!!! Absolutely loved this review you’re very talented
Aww thanks 😊
Cool camera but this video was such a vibe Bon! Loved the music choice and the shots in NYC! The Plustek yields pretty solid results as well. Good to see you back on YT!
Thanks Brendon! I’m pretty surprised with the Plustek scan, I was expecting it to be less detailed, but with sharpening it gets pretty close to the lab scan.
I got so many travel footage lying in my hard drive, I should make more videos 😂
Love the blue of the frame and the pictures you took 😍
So shiny 😆
These are so good! Specially for half frame.
Can’t agree more!
Been interested in this guy since they announced it, thanks for the review!
Happy to help!
that shakiness must have been crazy seeing back once you developed it! Glad it got fixed
Loved the photo-series at central park and the vibrant yellows
Thanks Nick! Yeah, I’m glad they fixed it too so now I don’t have to worry about shaky photos 😄
Welcome back, buddy! Have a happy holiday!
Thanks Isaac! Happy holidays to you as well 🥳
Beautiful Photos!
Thanks 🙏🏼
Thanks for the good job!
Thanks!
Nice camera!!!!
It’s so cute 😄
Thanks
Anytime!
Good photos ,still waiting the cameras sale in my country 😢
Thanks 🙏🏼 fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼
Nice review, thinking to get one to complement the experience with X-S10...kind of fun and recall good old childhood memory of those simple film cameras...Just wondering, when you mention the min focus distance is like 1.5m, for the 'selfie' u've taken any thing special to be done? The result of that is actually quite fun.
If I am using it for normal shooting (no bulbing / tripod), is it the only obvious difference/upgrade of H35N is, you don't really need to think about framing as you can already seeing through viewfinder in veritical when holding it horizontally?
Hey thanks!
For the selfie, I just stretched out my arm (which is freakishly long 🙃) I’m a bit blurred but it’s only noticeable if you zoom in.
If you don’t think you’ll use the added features, I think the H35 will fit your needs (I do think the H35N is sharper but that’s probably only if you’re pixel peeping). The viewfinder for the H35 is for full frame but with a semi-transparent dark film that masks the sides, maybe it’s my eyesight but I find that confusing to compose with sometimes 😂
Hi! Well, these photos are much better than the previous ones! What is the speed limit now, according to your feelings? I have a question, is it possible to remove the star filter? I am a beginner photographer and I want a compact camera with a glass lens. I really like this one)
Hey thanks! The shutter speed is still 1/100th so I wouldn’t be running while using it 😂 I used it normally, like a point and shoot and it was fine this time.
The star filter can be toggled so if you don’t like it, just use the camera without it.
@@Bonsees Thank you very much! I will wait until they bring it to our country)
Cool
Thanks ☺️
are you going to do a review on the long weekend camera when it comes out?
I have one on preorder so most likely 😆
You pictures turned out great !!! Best advertising for this camera. 😁 Personally, I won’t buy it, but that’s mainly, because it’s totally overpriced here in Japan and I have so many better ( real ) film cameras anyway.
Thanks Berndt! That’s totally fair 😆
I’ve been looking into this camera and the previous version to use for fun. Which film would you recommend for both? Thanks in advance
Kodak gold works well for both
Hi!! Loved the video:) when advancing the film, do i need to click each time the shutter bottom to take each half fream?? I mean, does it works as the regular ones? O maybe it about clicking two times without advancing the film to take de two half photos
And in the film counter... The number 1 has like a dot before, there is an S , then a dot and then the 1 so, which one is the first photo? I'm a beginner sorry hahah i'm a bit afraid to do it wrongly
It works like a regular camera, one click per photo, advance the film before each shot. The S is “start” the first few shots will be blanks because you’re exposing a bit of the film to light when putting the roll of film in the camera. 1 is the first photo.
@@Bonsees do you find the counter to be accurate? I've taken a few dummy shots (3) and the counter is moving but not at 1 yet. Should I just keep taking as if its at 1 to be safe?
@@keithyomi8889 with the way I load my camera, I usually get a usable photo just one before the 1 pops in the middle of the counter. Before the 1, you might get the film burn effect (like there’s a white space in the photo where the exposed portion of the film ends). I’d say take photos because you might get something but don’t take anything important before 1 😅 if that makes sense
Will this new updated version fit on any camera tripod? And also for the bulb shutter clicker, there is no specific one to buy to fit the camera? I just bought the H35 when i should waited and bought the H35N 😢
It should fit on standard tripods since it has a common, standard thread size (1/4). There’s also no specific bulb shutter release cable for this, just get the generic ones
What film did you use? Great photos btw.
Thanks! I used Lomography colour negative 400 and Kodak Gold 200
how do we know we got the upgraded version of h35n? what did they do to make it less shaky? can you state what it is?
In theory if you buy it now, you got the updated version (at first they received some pre production cameras). Keep in mind that those being things offered (not purchased) it’s difficult to put a lot of emphasis on reviews.
Like what @estwern said, if you buy this camera now, you should get an updated version.
I don’t know the technicalities behind the shutter, but from the looks of my shaky photos with the preproduction camera, it almost looks like the shutter has a defect that makes it open a second time. they could’ve fixed that bug. But that’s just my theory. They could’ve just changed the shutter parts all together like what they did with the film spool. The shape of the film spool on my preproduction camera looks sharp, the new one is blunted and thicker
Hello sir !
If I hold my camera in landscape mode, I mean "horizontal" the photo will be horizontal too ? Or do I have to hold my camera vertically to get horizontal?
And also, the size of the photos is similar to those of the M35 and M38 (10*15 I think)
Thanks in advance !
From France, Martin.
This is a half-frame camera so the the size of the photo will be half of the M35/M38. Also, if you hold the camera horizontal, the photo will be vertical, and horizontal if you hold the camera vertical.
@@Bonsees thank's bro
@@MTdu75000 anytime 🙌🏼
Can you pls review the Kodak I60 i wanna buy it but is it good? Because I'm seeing it 56% off in shoppe and i got unused Kodak Gold 200 film roll that my parents forgotten i wanna go into film photography 😭 pls respond
(Edit: Original selling price:2,399
Discount:999)*pesos*
I have an i60, it’s a pretty good reusable camera. I’d get it on that sale price ☺️ www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pude2ml8le62lhmrea8c9/Photo-2024-01-30-11-01-18.jpg?rlkey=68hzog17cijqnij2mdqkglusu&dl=0
What film good for indoors for this camera?
200 ISO should be fine, but I’d use films with ISO 400+ (like Kodak Ultramax 400, Fuji Superia 400, lomo 400/800, Reflx lab 800 tungsten ,etc.)
Thanks for video. I will appreciate if you we have mmore time
Sorry for the last comment, so thanks for the video. I wanted to say that you don’t let us anough time to appreciate photos you took. Continue your good work…
@@jean-charlesplourde5262 thanks 🙏🏼 I’ll consider giving more time to showcase the photos, I just sometimes feel like 2 seconds is too long, but maybe it’s not 🙈
i have 35 so 35 N is better ?
Not necessarily~ the 35N has more creative features which I like, but if you’re in it for simplicity of shooting, just snapping photos, the 35 works well
Which do you think is more sharp and better colour , this or the agfa ?
The colours depend on the film and the development/scanning process more than the lens nowadays. I’d go for this one than the Agfa even if it’s half-frame, it’s quite impressive for what it is imo.
But if you’re really looking for peak sharpness, don’t go for plastic cameras 😅
how are you doing sweetie? I hope you will have a nice xmas if you celebrate it 😗
I’m doing well, thanks 🙏🏼 glad to be over the busyness of the past few months 😆 I’m visiting family for the holidays, hope you enjoy yours too!
