    Dr Pal. I have recently done a presentation based on your intermittent fasting, sleeping habits etc in a community gathering and it was well received. I do follow intermittent fasting intermittently 😀…really seeing the progress..believe it or not I did reduce the sizes of all my old clothes, looking very lightweight, feeling happy etc thanks a lot Dr 🙏🏼

    Eggs are under-rated. The protein from eggs are high quality and having 2 eggs per day is quite good. On vegetable salads, we should try to have variety than repeating the same vegetables because variety is good for good microbiome health (gut health). Have more of cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, cabbage, radish, turnip, spinach, etc) which are also less in glycemic index than carrots, beets, etc. But having a mix of all vegetables is definitely better. Moringa leaves was another super food that missed a mention. Also, vegetables are better than fruits because fruits are high in glycemic index. Including mix of berries, raisins, roasted peanuts/soaked walnuts in your salad makes it more palatable. This is based on my experience.

    Lost 8 kg in 6 months time with diet n exercise Belly fat is remaining the same.
    153 cm ht 60 kg waist is still at 100cm Now following .Fasting window of 12 hours 7pm to 7am window .
    Thanks for the motivation.
    Would like to know about the packed dinner to take along when you leave for work in the morning

    Dr. Main contents are having quite a bit of carbs in them , and especially in the last meal. As , indians we need to really, to re-think our approach to eating

    We can make grated carrot, boiled sweet corn, sprouted moong, chilli,onion mix with curd ( like raitha)

      Avoid sweet corn...it's over rated. More of Carbs/Sugar in it. Replace it with cucumber which is much better vegetable. Just a suggestion.

    Add flavor to yogurt...
    Labneh is a form of thick yogurt without water available in gulf countries not sure of other places.
    Grid and add only the juice of green chilli and garlic to the yogurt with little salt and pepper. Its vegetarian form of garlic paste... can be stored for a week... good combination for grills..

    Dr pal as you are discussing about diet nv vs veg with dietician .now time is 6.30pm i have completed my dinner ..as usual getting some scolding from wife .....ungalukke veravelailla regular 6 one day why don't you eat with us in hotel .i said i can come and get all the things put it in hot pack ...tommorrow i can eat ....hahaha ....naanga dr pal follower ..summava

    My doctor asked me what are you doing for weight loss. I mentioned intermittent fasting. He asked me to do the calorie count.no more than 1000-1500 calories . I target to 1200. All spent once for breakfast or lunch. Left with nothing for dinner. One slice of chocolate moose cake 650 calories right there 🤔🤔🤔

    Keeping a goddess photo helps a lot of people to surrender to calmness, so I think it’s not a thing to be laughed at. The photo can be father mother guru god goddess . For lot of people quitening the mind is difficult

    Following intermittent fasting it did help to feel light and energized. One thing i observed is that, I started having less food than earlier days. As a result I did find constipation issues. Any help in this?

      No, not daily. Once in a while is fine. You can stick to paneer, lentils, legumes etc..

    Hi Dr,
    I am following the intermittent fasting since last two months. I have pain in the right abodmen area and visited to hospital diagonesed as non calculos cholecystitis mild gall bladder wall thickness measured as 3.2mm. Doctor advised me to take the food on time avoid oily and fatty foods.pls advise shall i continue the intermittent fasting?
