Love living in The Grand! we looked all over. But the Grand is by far exactly what we looked for. Its friendly people beautiful clean, completley updated Rec centers unlike others that we toured. SWC to us was too much like a city, with to many commercial buildings, stores, and too many busy tons of traffic. We chose the Grand for the quiet but extremely active community. With a so many ammenties and impeccable golf course's. We are beyond happy woth our choice. After researching over 2 years. The Grand is just that...Grand.❤
Kody is an amazing agent and very easy to work with. We did not buying in Sun City Grand but Kody helped us find our perfect match and I can’t recommend him enough.
45+. Not Sun City Grand any more. Now known as The Grand. 4 golf courses, not one. Come back in a few months when all the buildings are updated with new paint! No more pink. It is a great community that is very fiscally sound, emphasize sustainability and looking towards the future. 3 restaurants on campus too!
@@RABPWarrior in a well run HOA, this hardly ever happens - much effort is expended to try to collect before foreclosing. In our community of 9800 homes, less than 1 per year is foreclosed on after great efforts to collect - and sometimes even locate the appropriate party!
We visited Sun City Grand and the exercise & pool facilities were great but the community itself has almost no grass anywhere around the homes. Very bleak and ugly as compared to Sun Lakes or even the older Leisure World which have a lot of grassy areas and water ponds spread throughout the property. We looked at some townhomes at Sun Lakes and homes at Leisure that were surrounded by lawns and water hazards and selling in the high $200s, low $300s. Sun City Grand has nothing like this. I guess it would be okay for snowbirds, but for year-round living I need to see some grass and water.
Lovely looking place but don't expect to ever have your neighbors speak to you. Chances are you will not even know who you share a property line with. Very cliquish atmosphere at the club house and pools. Concept of a retirement community is great, but only if it works. The most standoffish, unwelcoming place ever lived...even Manhattan had friendlier neighbors.
That is an amazing comment! It was one of the reasons we moved here. We "sampled" a few other communities, and, for us, Grand people were down to earth, genuine and friendly - but not "in your business" over the top! I hope you found the community that was perfect for you.
Sun City West has a few areas that are nice, but overall it’s not great looking. I’ve lived in Sun City West and relocated to Grand. SCW seems to have a lot of people that do not take pride in their yards. While living there, we had a neighbor that had at least 100 faded resin cat and dog statues in the front yard. As well as flags and fake flowers everywhere. Ridiculous! Then there’s the place with the murals painted on the outside of the house! Like, who does that?? There’s also a home that has an old full size wooden stagecoach/ wagon(?) in the front yard?? How is that possible center allowed? My opinion of SCW if a big NO for me. I’ll take The Grand. It’s much cleaner and nicer looking.

@@roadtripdreamer yes it is now The Grand. Most people still know it as Sun City Grand. Having 4 golf courses is great
HOAs can foreclose on your home faster than your mortgage company can. No Matter how fiscally sound one is, their power is horrendous.

It’s HOT in Arizona so why are are pickle ball courts not covered?
Why the thumbs down? I mostly heard positive comments from you on the video.

All those communities with extensive grass will be cutting back as water allocations continue to shrink!

People living there think they are the greatest ever. I am in Sun City West and like it much better. Have lived in both.
