Technically she achieved her goal, even though she died, she brought thrawn and the nightsister mothers back to the main galaxy, the mothers can start bringing back the nightsisters and their culture, which is what morgan always wanted. Which is why she was willing to sacrifice herself to do it.

In my opinion:
Barriss => Dooku > Morgan > Ahsoka
Regarding the conclusion of Barriss's arc, it also slightly irritates me, and it's the only major flaw: Disorienting open ending.
There's a suggestion that Lyn used Force Heal, but it wasn't emphasized enough. It would have been enough to show Heal and that the wound disappeared.
Additionally, she's another character who survives a lightsaber stab. Here is perhaps the only justification for survival from all these situations, but it's still irritating because the lightsaber has lost its strength.
Instead of deap stab, I would have, for example, shown a shallow cut, perhaps on her stomach, and definitely shown Force Heal and not leave fans without a real visible answer.
Barriss could have lost consciousness, but they should have shown the healing, and if she somehow died (which some fans believe), they should have shown a funeral or, for example, emotional hysteria from Lyn and simple saying goodbye.
(But that would still be a weak ending, especially considering that she returns after 11 years.)
Nevertheless, the previous two episodes are top SW for me. I genuinely worried about the fate of this character and even shed a few tears and that's why I consider this story as equal or maybe even better than Dooku's.
As for Vader, I'm glad there wasn't much of him because he could have taken away the strength of Barriss' decisions.
And if he did something to Barriss, it would show weakness, that Anakin still has an influence on him. Vader wants to prove that he buried Anakin. So that also make sense.
