    This is so accessible, really well explained and still useful many years after you first made this video. Great work.

    I tried others CAD but Onshape is the best Simple and great.
    It can make many parts easy in a single part studio while In others CAD is a pain. Is easy to learn

    How do you set the diameter to 15? I mean what key do you press?

    • @onshapetutorial
      @onshapetutorial  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use the Dimension tool in the sketch Tool Bar. Click on the circle and enter the diameter 15 from the keyboad.

    I'm so behind in my engineering class. Can you please tell me what do I press so i can create a drawing? please.

      In your document window, go to the lower left corner of the screen and click on the + icon. From the popup menu choose "Create Drawing". Choose your layout size and and which standards you want for your sheet. ANSI will be consistent with North American Standards with third angle projection for your orthographic projection drawings. Please views on sheets, etc to finish your drawing. I guess I should make some video on creating documentation drawings.

    Why when I set the diameter to 15 the circle gets bigger

    • @onshapetutorial
      @onshapetutorial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This object is in MM. Here is a video that shows how to check and set your document units: th-cam.com/video/aCYjYsbYlb4/w-d-xo.html
      If the first circle you drew was larger than 15mm and you use the dimension tool to dimension it to 15mm it will automatically adjust. This means if it was larger, it gets smaller, and if it was smaller, it gets bigger. How big any sketch object looks on the screen is relative to the zoom level setting of your screen. Size is not constrained until an entity's color turns black.
