Love them! I was thinking of doing something similar with the piles of coloring pages I have done recently. They are done with gel pens or colored pencils or a few with water colors, but I think I can use them. If some do not work, at least I had the fun of coloring them! Thanks a bunch for the inspiration.

I sure wish I'd seen this earlier! I just found out the hard way that parchment paper is NOT made for monoprinting. hahahaha!
As I was pulling a 2nd generation print (I think it's called?) the dried paint from my first print/pull completely came off the paper!! I mean, literally just peeled right off the parchment paper and stuck to the Gelli plate!!
I had searched high and low, on the Internet and TH-cam, looking for info about the difference between the two and amazingly found NOTHING, nada, zero, zilch. I know deli paper prints have been around for years, but it's just something I put off trying.
Anyway, something cool did come from this disaster. I went ahead and peeled the "skin" from the paper, carefully put this back on the plate, brayered paint on top and pulled a pretty cool, unique print.
I really wish I could find deli paper! I'm not giving up! I know it's available online, but dang it, I just want to be able to go to a store and buy it!
So, if you're like me and have asked others about deli and parchment and their reply is "nothing, parchment is just more expensive," don't believe it!
Thank you for this fantastic tutorial! Your work turned out great and I loved the dense papers you made. I can't wait to try it! :-)

I would like to ask what is the paper you work on? Not the one you using in your hands but the ones with all the different paint on covering your work area, do you cover your work area in paper or table cloth cover. Basically just wondering how you set your work area up as it looks great and colourful and useable it invites you in to craft and get messy and be free , because when I see clean white work area it makes you feel you have to craft clean and it's not inviting. Would really like you to do a video on your work area and set up with paper advice. Great video learned loads Thank you.😀

Even though you get some interesting texture by letting paint to dry on your gelli plate, it would drive me crazy if my plate was that dirty!
