Great video , just had mine a week now 1 dig , only used 5 tone, but hearing dp will be using that now Definitely think its a great machine got a cut quarter at 5 inch Keep up the great job enjoy your videos 👍
Many thanks for your time and advice. A great video. My concern is the round shaft, it could twist with a large coil. If you tighten too much it could snap I think. No doubt it's a good machine but I'd prefer a shaft that can't twist.
Brilliant video Graham really enjoyed this, a great example of some of the 900s features, really liking the DP tones. but now I’m thinking 900 or save up abit longer and get the manticore 🤔
@@unearthed-detecting-tv ok cheers mate. Reason I asked if that I’m on a couple waiting list for manticore and sick of waiting plus don’t think I can warrant £1800 if the 900 is a great machine at £700 less 👍🏻
very Nice Test. you should also try with the general rubbish that its easy to found in the field or in the park. I means big part of old alluminum, bullet, lead, cans, ecc.. this should be usefull for understand when avoid to dig some of the classic rubbish that the Metal detect.
Very impressive Graeme especially when you upped the sensitivity, liked the two tone sound. Quick question if your using one tone can you use the horse shoe to check if it's iron? Never used a Nox so not sure how it works 😊
The one tone will more than likely register most if not all targets the same, popping over to all metal will give you enough information to determine the iron and of course the VDI numbers too
I am still tempted by the 900 over the Manticore you won't be surprised to hear! lol. Definetly deeper than my 800. I can bury hammered to test at 4 to 5 inches and it won't hit them!
Also a simplex user. Waiting for the 900 to arrive in the post. Looking forward to going over where I’ve searched with the simplex to see if there’s anything I’ve missed. Simplex has been a great machine and found some decent finds but watching the vids of people on here using the equinox always had me thinking if I was missing targets.
@dan theman Yes that's normal thinking , but you have to make your own luck and other people will most likely think the same what ever machine they are useing. I was going to get the Manticore but am going to get the equinox 900 as it has good pedigree..
Just loving the different tones and depth settings really spoilt for choice so many thanks once again 👍👌
Yes lovely tone selection now!
Love the fluity tones of All Tones, thanks for the video! Thanks for running it all full sensitivity! Can't wait to get mine on the tenth!
You are welcome!
Very interesting, I've started thinking about upgrading to the 900.

Many thanks for spending the time to watch
Thank you very much for this demonstration!
I just received mine and videos like these are great for learning :)!
Thank you sir 👍
The deep tone may pluck out some sceats for my hoard! Very professional video well done 👏
Dale, its an immense machine, the problem is we can only use one detector at a time...
Very nice test Graeme
Thanks for watching chris my friend

Can you save your own settings on the 900 ?if so how please
Thanks for the video sir
You are welcome!
Sounds sweet……wonder what a (shallow) Target would sound like on the Depth Tone ? . Thanks for sharing
Very sweet indeed rob, i will do a shallow target test next

I wouldnt worry about the shaft, its perfectly stable! Thank you for watching.

The 900 is a beast mate, trust me
@@unearthed-detecting-tv it’s looks it mate, a very impressive machine
900 buddy you won't be disappointed 😊
Cool cheers for that
You are welcome, feel free to subscribe to the channel, its free!
Hi Greame, correct me if i'm wrong, but I assume the dp tone would use up more battery power. That's where the nox pwr pack would be a godsend.
Hi debbie, i think it will be ok power wise as its usually the KHZ settings that drain the battery down more
Is it as good as the manticore Graham?
Difficult to say as i havent used the manticore enough to compare yet sir

Its very good david
I like the Minelab tones. Should I buy one?
Very sweet, especially on those hammered coins

Minelab have great tones full stop imo👍
Some interesting tones for sure rob
I like the sound of the 5 tone sounds like pinpoint tones
Thanks for watching dave 👍
My comment should have said as a simplex user!
I understood!😄

Can you confirm that d p does not alter the depth
Large and shallow targets will sound louder than deeper ones, so in theory you can pick out the deeper targets easier
5th time of watching this video mate, I like it to much to not get one, will send you a email over
Received mate
