Not sure they said it woule release in 2024... I think Aug/Sep 2025... My questions 1. What's the objective ? 2. How deep is survival ? 3. How deep is combat ? 4. What level of fast travel is there ? 5. How do you find/tame dragons ? Really hope we get some answers... all your questions are great, some of mine are the same... love your content mate.
im hoping the answers are 1. you Build your own story. 2. twice as big as NMS 3. twice as much as NMS. 4. no fast travel.. all on foot for full immersion 5 Its a secret.. "for us to dev and you to find out'
Im assuming players are going to be spawning near the equator or in a single content, and then moving out from there. At least that's the most interesting way for spawns to work imo. Would be cool to see movement data as the player base spreads outb
I feel like a more random spawn system would be better that way when you spawn, you’re not immediately surrounded by other players homes. Random spawn would make it way easier to find your own untouched piece of the world right from the beginning.
Thanks for this video....I'm curious to know how they're going to manage the biomes. Will they create gigantic coherent zones (on the scale of half a land continent) or will they multiply the biomes with the risk of making the whole thing totally incoherent? What's more, NMS is all about technology, so how do you move mechanics towards craft or magic?
I wonder how we gonna get a flying mount. Because it's not nms, I assume it's gonna be waaaaaaay harder to acquire one, maybe not even not even required to have one or for the game to give you it. Would be cool to go in the route of no flight. If the world's MP's gonna be big and you'll just see everyone near you, I'm starting a witch hunter guild 😂 NO MAGIC USERS and we hunt them down! (Wish ir was possible)
Imagine some maniac starts up a community of followers, carves out a border for his piece of territory on this (hopefully shareable) procedurally generated Earth, and arises as video game Hitler.
That is exactly what I’m hoping for. A world where people from all over our world are able to run into each other. Pretty sure that’s going to be impossible… but the thought of how cool that would be is so enticing
""Light No Fire," the upcoming game by Hello Games, draws inspiration from a wide array of global mythologies and cultures, incorporating elements from African, American, Asian, Egyptian, Greek, Norse, and other traditions. The game's open world is designed to be as varied as an entire universe, emphasizing exploration and discovery within a richly diverse planet. The game's lore is heavily influenced by classic fantasy and mythology. For example, in Norse mythology, the Northern Lights were often seen as reflections from the armor of Valkyries, while various North American indigenous tribes had their own unique interpretations of the Aurora Borealis, ranging from spirit guides to fires built by supernatural beings. Similarly, the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu and other deities from Shinto mythology also inspire aspects of the game’s world-building. "Light No Fire" aims to create a fantasy Earth filled with mythical creatures, ancient lore, and cultural symbolism. This includes elements like fire, which carries significant symbolic weight in many cultures, representing both creation and destruction, purification and torment. By weaving these diverse mythological and cultural elements into its narrative and gameplay, "Light No Fire" promises an immersive experience that resonates with the adventure and imagination found in works like J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth and C.S. Lewis's Narnia." - AI

At this point, I'm just the attitude of whatever happens happens.

Yeah man, when you say hundreds of players at the same time… I’m super hopeful, my only concern is player griefing in some way
