Extending the solar panel mounts. Is this a bad idea?

I started mounting the solar rails on the roof but came up with an idea to extend the height of the rails. This is for better ventilation and also maintenance. But is this a good idea?

Perhaps you can use 40mm wide 6 or 10mm aluminium bar cut to the length. If you do that, then you need with two holes drilled at the lower end to attach to the brackets with two bolts to give them lateral stability.

Yep, that would work too. I probably use this idea on the other side of the roof as I'm running out of these white spacers. Thanks for that suggestion.
