CDMX is a valley surrounded by mountains, if we're lucky, the wind might clear it away, but it usually settles for quite some time & it's hard to keep the pace breathing this dense shit

Great advice, although your description is a bit misleading. The primary use case of a radial lacing is when there is no torque application to the hub of the wheel (like the chain or disk brakes). As there is no torque transfer in a rim brake front wheel the spokes can be optimized to only transfer radial load, rather than axial moment load (Hub Torque).
