This may be an older video but this helps so much. There is a bunch of videos of people talking about a list of selfcare points or note to self or anything like this but they are all very broad. This on the other hand just speaks volumes and is broad in the best way. So even if I stumbled upon this a little late it helped me to get me on the path where I need to be.

love this video M.E.! i've been coming to the same conclusion about not explaining decisions - and to build on what you said so well i realised that when you explain your reasons behind a decision to someone you essentially give that person permission to examine the factors and then come to their own conclusion as to whether that decision fits your reasons. which when you've already decided and are happy with the outcome is generally not a useful process - backtracks and makes you doubt your conclusion! but when we say "i've decided to move" people just respond "oh wow ok cool!" and just accept it! save time, save emotional energy, avoid doubting yourself... love it. love your channel!

Thanks for this Mary! I just got let go at my job this week and it's really easy to fall into feeling sorry for myself and feeling like I failed at something. But I decided not to do that! I decided to stay positive and to tell myself that this is just a door opening to something I probably wouldn't have approached if I'd stayed complacent at my job. And this video was just confirmation that I'm doing it right. This is the way I want to live my 2016 and the many years to come! Thank you. And good luck with your journey!
