These are great ideas! I was waiting for something about a hag or coven. The idea of two hags and the third entity being a powerful magic caster of some kind, anything from a fey touched sorcerer to a powerful druid.

Cool idea! It has the makings of an excellent story

You know I have a great respect for Lizardfolk. See I can make fun of them all day and they won't get offended. Which means I can pretend it is because they are smart enough to take it in good sport and not because they are too stupid to know what an insult is. Makes me feel better about how the world really works.

I had to cancel my plan to go on the offensive in Avernus. Not enough people were brave enough to join in, and after studying Tiamat's defenses, I have concluded there is no way in hell I could ever get close enough. You would almost think her defenses are designed specifically to intercept Metallic Dragons.
Sadly even I have to accept that such a dangerous mission would only lead to death even if attempted by me.
I think instead of trying to reduce enemies my best move is to try to make allies.

Hell yeah. Also in honor of Van Richten’s guide, are you planning on doing one of these for Ravenloft or Barovia?

Great videos. Any ideas for Abyssal/demonic encounters?

Thank you! The Abyss is tough since each individual layer is so different from the next. Are there any particular layers that you're looking for?

@@TheCuriousOwlbear I am most interested in aspects of the abyss making its way into the material plane. Encounters surrounding cultists, portals, relics, rituals, or situations affecting people in the material plane.

I'm going to be honest to all you builders. If you build a town in a swamp on purpose, but you don't have enough skills to keep it from mattering whether the tide comes in, or it is flood season, or a great drought, because the buildings rely on expecting the water level to be only at a certain measurement ...
You need to be ashamed of yourself.

Very true. But climates change and the land answers. There are certain to be some casualties of time

Strength 21??? How big are those crocs?

    • @TheCuriousOwlbear

      Quite...quite large

@@TheCuriousOwlbear Clearly I need to go to the swamp more often. Challenging prey with a great reward? Ha! I'll make one of my lairs in a swamp.
Experience has taught me 1 layer is never enough for a adventurer who likes to travel. Specialized hideout camps win the day.

to be fair, 0-20 are generally the limits for (*normal*) humans, it makes sense for a croc to be stronger than that (especially the *huge* crocodile, at 15 feet end to end its basically equivalent to a saltwater Crocodile irl). If you know anyone who's stronger than a Crocodile irl...they gotta be pretty high level.

@@matthewmoran1866 A human who's strength level is 20 is the guy who lifts that bar bell that has 1 castiron balls at either end of it that has "1000" written on it.
Yep, about the limit for a normal human.
