@@NeonBeeCat FR. New wave Pendulum has its merits, but it isn't as good - or as true to form - as old Pendulum. Napalm is worth listening to I believe - my favorite part is the little breakbeat loop at 2:01 - but it just exudes laziness and feels like only half the effort was put in. The drums sound straight out of a Blaine Stranger track, and you can tell the hook loop is just Ctrl+C -> Ctrl+V'd after the main verse @1:25. Piss poor work for a band who pride themselves on "sonic impact". I do think this track would hit a lot harder live in person tho

Their older stuff was half intricate ambient abd half melodically intricate dnb on admittedly very simple beat. They even had acoustic guitar on every other track. This... Yeah, it's Knife Party Noisia thing.

I could hear that for sure too. I think it is going to influence most, if not all, of their future tracks. Some Knife Party was eh, but some of it is pretty damn good as well. This track personally isn't bad, but not their greatest.
I kinda want to see Pendulum or at least Rob and Gareth do a Celldweller and make a Pendulum song that collabs with Knife Party.
