Very commendable and proactive approach by these citizens! Government cannot be everywhere in a crisis. If you see a need and are able to render assistance no matter how minute,it goes a long way, after all it is your community to reap the benefits. Let us all do our part to get the country back on its feet as quickly as possible. Long live St. Vincent and the Grenadines! Much love guidance from Jamaica🇯🇲
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS, THIS IS TRULY, REALLY THE ONLY WAY, THAT YOU'LL START YOUR LIFE BACK ON TRACK ... PROUD OF YOU CARIBBEAN GUYS.... BLESS ALL YOUR HEARTS.. PROUD OF YOU FOREVER, FOR LIFE.💪✊🙌👍✌️👏😀❤️🙏😇.
Very commendable of what they're doing coming together and get the work done God give them the health and strength to get it all done blessing to each and everyone
It's great seeing how we can all work together to clean up the community. We need brotherly and sisterly love at this time. Put all our differences aside and work together for the good of our country. May God bless each of you and grant you all the strength and patience you need as you continue to face this challenge throughout the coming days and months.
Yah man a good work dem a do , you know seh the volcanic debris is full of minerals that good food growing plants and food and also good medically it can be used , I would bag it all up an sell it a foreign
I hope St.Vincent sell the Volcanic ash to Amazon.com,pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies or better yet open up a factory that sells products that contains volcanic ash.PLEASE DONOT THROW AWAY THE VOLCANIC ASH ,THE MONEY WILL COME IN HANDY TO HELP RESTORE YOUR HOMES AND FEED YOUR FAMILIES.
The ash can mix to make materials for building. However if only debris from floods I cannot say. Maybe fertilizer for plant growth. Ash can make bricks or roads...mixed with materials that last longer time.
Yes guys bag up the volcanic ash, I’m sure if you look online you can find buyers for it, it’s vey healthy when used the right way, for fertiliser, medicos and health products. Save what you can. Blessings to you all in St Vincent.
Great job but everyone reacts to crisis differently. Did you ask the men who were "liming by the wharf" if they had the materials that they needed to start to clean up?
The thing a lot of those young men don’t understand is that the government of St. Vincent is asking for a lot of money from the international community to help in the recovery. How does it look to potential donors if they see videos of able bodied men having a lime while the prime minister is telling the world that the situation in SVG is desperate?
Instead of asking a whole heap of questions, maybe Kenton should roll up his sleeves and help. The last thing anyone likes when they are working hard, is a ton of meaningless questions. Much better would be for Kenton to contact international agencies to get more PPE for the citizens of SVG and apply all journalistic influence in such matters. #SVGLivesMatter
Beg to disagree here but he is playing his part as journalist,he is documenting what’s happening on the ground so the world can see the latest developments and progress being made. Peace onto you..
Remember God loves you so much that he sent his son to die for our sins so that we can have everlasting life please repent and get baptized in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost🙏
Born vincy if we work together and built together we will accomplish great things, each village needs to do the same, it's for our benefit, good job guys, the younger generations are just lazy and wants everything free .unhealthy attitude.
i believe with that talk everyone wait for government to do for them with there is so much to be done everywhere government cant do it all we have to do it for ourselves
You guys want the residents to clean up, no prob the least the government can do is give them the proper equipment like masks and snow shovels, etc, ever heard of 911, and what happened to the first responders from the dust and debris they inhaled?

Very nice of you guys
Very good hope the other communites are encouraged
It would be good if when you are doing your videos you say what people outside can donate. We need to know what is needed.
So why d authorities doh send in a backhoe to scrape out d roadway. This man power cud be reserved for other areas of need.

Can ash be bagged and sold as fertilizer ?
I learned recently that the this ash is an excellent fertilizer.. I feel for the struggles of our people..
Man am so happy to see that, an my little village coulls hill the young men are charging up to $900 to clean ppl house top
I somehow don't think that this VOLCANO is finished with them as yet, I'm JUST hoping that I'm wrong.
.
Wow...nothing but a wheelbarrow to haul off that ash.
In Taiwan ,they use the ash to make bricks
Its tru when he said to much ppl wait on the guberment...get up and get busy
Great job but everyone reacts to crisis differently. Did you ask the men who were "liming by the wharf" if they had the materials that they needed to start to clean up?
Can volcano ash be used as soil or for anything??

For real .He also said to many people depend on the government surely they have a responsibility to the people.
That looks like cement couldn’t it be used for something?
The lord help those who help themselves. God bless them.
can someone tell me why they keep referring to the cement as "ash"?
Because that's exactly what it looks like.... Plus caribbean people like give nickname to everything😆
Because it IS ash. It's from the volcanic eruption.
I think they should dump this material one place probably god give them something in it. They can get by product. . It already look like cement
I was thinking leave it alone on the road. Put Tar or Barber Green onto it to make the road surface, and cover the pot holes.
All put the name of the place of the video we don’t want to guess!!
They can do well with a backhoe. This is not healthy. It rough
All d backhoe dem dey georgetown... kenton sum times yo questions dem nah mek sense ..
Best village 2021???
Remember God loves you so much that he sent his son to die for our sins so that we can have everlasting life please repent and get baptized in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost🙏
Well done. Keep the speed bump. Put them ALL OVER SVG.
Good guy s heaven help those who help themselves
Yes 👍 💯!
This is not scripture😊
He never said it is scripture! It is only a “saying”! Just like saying “the universe is watching”
@@annmcb wasn't attacking u ..but alot of ppl believe its scripture..because is was said so much ..🤗

This reporter asking a lot of foolish questions.
Make bricks with the dust

The youth are lost. It’s always take alpha males to get things done!
