What a fabulous day out. Stunning scenery as always, as another you tuber says, its all about the views. So sad about the aircraft disappearing. Its a grave sight for heavens sake.
@@emz_adventure 😄thanks Emz. Stir crazy at moment. Haven't been out for two weeks. Pulled my back 9 days ago, getting up from settee to pick my Day sack up. 😄Hopefully get out for easy walk tomorrow. 🤔😊
Such a beautiful area! I’ve been stuck in bed for 2 weeks and I’m desperate to get out walking again so videos like yours are keeping me sane. Thank you!!
Thank you for mentioning the Lighthouse, it truly is a beacon of light in the darkness. Wow, those panoramics are amazing, and they look very fresh, I noticed the lack of debris from the crash site, I always put it down to not bring sure of if I was in the right place, I've only been a few times, awful to think people are taking souvenirs , leave nowt but footprint take nowt but memories. Thanks for sharing your adventures, mint hew!!
OMG I hope you had plenty of paper with you😳. I really enjoyed my visit to Windy Gyle, which must be about 5 years ago now, so real nice to see it again and awww, it's you plan that is lose😉. All for bringing back the Hanging Stone for the dross that pollutes us and those views were amazing! You left it late getting back to the car mind, just as well you had your head torch with you, cheers Alan
Last year over 2 days I walked from Byreness to Kirk Yetholm. Camped at the first refuge at Lamb Hill. It’s a complete wilderness up there. One of those few place in UK where you get solitude. It’s rather satisfying.
Absolutey stunning Emz, I think you're the best ambassador the Cheviots have ever had (maybe after David Dippie Dixon!). No one puts the miles and time into those hills like you do.
Hehe I'll take that Graham. I love the hills and I'll never tire of them. Although I'm looking forward to my Scottish trip in April. Thanks for watching
Great video Emma and what a cracking walk you are the lady of the Cheviots that's a tuff walk with stunning view's and the weather was very kind for you I'm looking forward to getting back up there in a few months time atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Looks fantastic up there emz good vlog and info as always top man Derrick also good stuff and 😂as loose as a tart In a brothel what a topper 😂 that was my daily smile sorted belta place
What a class day out. That is some mileage considering the ascent/descent you did there. The place is stunning. I need to get myself there and experience the place. You are seriously going to smash your hike when the time comes.
Hi Emz, fantastic again mate. Watched end to end whilst doing physio - you need that for your hip. The Cheviots on your 1 day hols were behaving for you although it was a fresh one. But how awesome to breathe all that in and energize mind body and soul. Hey, good training too for your charity hike. Well, you had the hills to yourself apart from that helpful couple. Always good to connect. Good going. The vistas were epic. Until next time, all the best. Mark
Hi Mark. Thanks for watching til the end. I know. It was good they played ball weather wise those hills 😊. To be fair I like it in all weather's. I was hoping for snow but alas it was just a few moments of the white stuff as I drove up. 😢. Hoping tomorrow there will be more when I go up hedgehope Hill. Thanks again for watching. Hope you're well
@@emz_adventure A pleasure Emz - very enjoyable and your funny mate. Yeah, I like all weather. Did a great one in a mental storm recently - on my channel if interested. Got back down buzzing. Ah, snow doesn't last long now but great when it does come. Have a cool weekend.
Cracking walk Emz with stunning views. Hats off to you, it looked a long day, but well worth it! We were on Easter Tor etc on Wed and were knackered after that walk let alone the mileage you covered in this walk. Great stuff! Cheers. Eddie.
@@emz_adventure Evening emz, yes the goats made an appearance just before we got to Wester Tor. We also saw quite a few the week before near Windy Gyle. They are always good to see. Take care. Cheers. Eddie
Make the most of it indeed you hillwalking, cheviot machine. 😉 Cracking day Emz. I saw nothing when I did Windy Gyle so defo a return in good weather is in order..Nice wee story about the hanging stone. I kinda like stories like that. Bought a book, Scotland myths, legends and folklore. I guess there will be similar books for the Cheviots & Northumberland.
Evening kev. Eeh you did windy gyle? When was that. Did you go from Cocklawfoot farm.. Best route up I think. Ah I love the tales of the hills. Yeah there's a fella from old David dippie Dixon who wrote a book many many years ago filled with local tales. I must get it. Cheers for watching
That's a big day out Emz you covered some miles there. Stunning views into Scotland from The Border Ridge. I think the wreckage is still up there though as I was at the Vickers Warwick crash site just before Christmas and there is still lots of debris including the two engines also further North from the main site some more has been uncovered, probably with all the rain. Great video with great commentary as always. Take care. Mick.
Hi mick. Yeah the vickers site is still there but from what I see the remnants on the other side are gone. Last time I was up in summer more had disappeared there was only a couple of bits left. I thought it could have been covered up due to the winter weather as the peat can often sink it in but the parts on the grassy verges aren't there. I'm hoping come summer it dries out and they're just hidden but I don't think so 🤔 😢. Thanks for watching as always 😊
@@emz_adventure A few years ago there was a big piece halfway up Scotmans Knowe which someone must have carried from the main site and dumped, a shame other bits have been taken. I came across the Short Stirling site last year which is East not far from the summit purely by chance. There are only four small pieces of wreckage there, hopefully, no one finds and removes them.
Just lush, a love it, ya heeds ok.
Music to accompany 👌 as if historical facts.
Some day off, time in the hills is time we'll spent.
Indeed it is.. thanks for watching. Much appreciated
