"these skies are neon dressed in a smile the music dances high blue skies before me they fill my eyes with love and joy inside I look inside you what did I find the east and west combined" yeah that's all I have
@MrPleasethink Like much of Sakamoto's music, this song is a fusion of Tibetan music with other traditions, such as Okinawan music (i.e. those female singers are Okinawan folk musicians). The titles for some of his songs are partially misnomers as they only represent one part of the song. For example, his 1989 song "Calling From Tokyo" sounds more like a fusion of Okinawan, African, Indian and Arabic music rather than Tokyo music.
@@竹子-m8x This is what I read somewhere. Rather than being directly inspired from a musical style, it is a musical interpretation of the visuals of dance Sakamoto saw.
I am a Tibetan but I haven't heard this kind of Tibetan music whole my life. I think the singer got it wrong with something else. So, dear listeners, this is not at all a Tibetan song or dance. Peace out..

This music is composed of oriental melody and western drum rhythm. He show that the east and the west can be the one!

Why is the title "Tibetan Dance" ? it's Japanese? Just wondering....
I think it's just the composer's imagination of Tibetan Dance maybe = ="
