Hello, and thank you for the video! I have a question about exporting a file. I created a "sandwich" structure with a gyroid core and two plates-one above and one below it-so that I can perform FEM simulations in Ansys Workbench. However, after exporting the file as a STEP (.stp) and IGES (.igs) and importing the geometry into Ansys, only the plates are visible, while the gyroid structure itself is missing. Do you know why this might be happening or how I can resolve it? Thank you!
I don't believe that the Lattice features support STEP or IGES export, but you can ask PTC Tech Support to confirm. They are supported in Creo Simulation Live and I believe Creo Simulate, but PTC can confirm that as well.
Hi, I'm trying to create a gyroid lattice with a shell to perform FEA in creo simulate but will not either attach properly to the shell or generate successfully as it disappears when entered into the simulate window, so it just performs FEA on the shell only. Is there a way to rectify this?
Hi Iam facing problem when Iam importing these lattice structures in ANSYS. please guide me how to insert these in ANSYS geometry. I tried with .igs, .prt, .stp file type.
You can use Creo Simulate, Creo Simulation Live, or Creo ANSYS Simulation, and then there's no need to transfer. But I don't have every software package on the planet, so I can't answer if you're some other solution.
You light the path and show the way to demonstrate the high potential of Creo Parametric. So great. Thank you very much Dave.
Thank you for your kind comments, Dominique.
can u please tell which software is this?
Thank you for the video. Can the size of the Lattice be varied in a gradient?
Yes
@@CADPLMGuy Do you know why the lattice disappears after I import the model with gyroid lattice features into ANSYS for mechanical analysis?
@@xyy9825 I do not.
can u please tell which software is this?
can we make TPMS lattice with variable density?

By the way thankyou sooo much sir this video helps me alot. lots of appreciation from pakistan
Your video helped a lot. Can you show how to transfer these files in ANSYS for FEA?
I don't have ANSYS.
@@CADPLMGuy but how can i use these for structures for FEA?

@@CADPLMGuy so can you show the simulation of these lattices on Creo.
can u please tell which software is this?
Hi, why do lattice structures give an error when analyzing?
That’s not enough information to diagnose. I recommend opening a ticket with PTC Technical Support.
Sir can I get more related videos related of how to design primitive scaffold structures please
You can use ANSYS or Creo to desgn primitive scaffold structures.
@@mianzainiftikhar5278 right. Thankyou
hello sir, i want it export to step.how can i do it?
did you find any solution for that?
I also want to know about it
can u please tell which software is this?
Creo Parametric. It’s the name of my channel and in the title of the video.
@@CADPLMGuy thanks alot sir
