Getting to be that time of depositors, at least the tourists, headed out and snowbirds coming back. Gonna be a grind but your videos are always fun to watch. That fulgurite is pretty amazing, i gotta try to keep an eye out for that stuff.
Hi Spicey , the surf temp is starting to drop. Water temp 80 degrees F today. It wont be long before it gets too cold for most people to swim . Keep an eye open for fulgurites after big surf . As the sand washes away they are left behind because they are more dense . You never know what you will find on the beach . Thanks for watching .

Another good video, never heard of a fulgurite but that was neat. Was walking the beach. In naples and found a good size sharks tooth that was all black.
Every time we go to Florida beaches, my husband makes sand sculptures like that mermaid you showed. Usually he made alligators though. Thanks for the beach fix.

I can`t get over how the shark tooth is in such great condition. I wonder if the lightning lightened up the tooth. All I`ve seen were darker. Never the less real nice find. Worth while displaying.
Hi Francis , yes , I have a Garrett carrot on my belt. I only use it if I can't find a target with the large coil. Most of the time on the beach I don't need to use it . I use it more on inland hunts. Thanks for watching .
Hey IDD.. yeah so I have been all the way North of Florida all the way down to South key Biscayne recently ... .conditions are the same up and down the entire East Coast.. as a matter of fact I hit some of the West Coast too trying to find any washed-out spots you know with a lot of shells and stuff just in one area ....just seems like it's sand sand sand!!! And then if I hit a Target.... like I'll be digging on Target and it sounds pretty good and then it just fills in so fast you can never get it or retrieve it so you don't know what it is..😅😂. I ain't complaining I'm just saying... however.. That fulgurite is definitely a treasure that so cool with that sharks tooth in that! I was wondering if you were the one that found that 85 lb of cocaine that washed up on the shore... But since you weren't running around fast with your metal detector I guess it wasn't you 🤣😆😆😂😅😆... Anyway yeah it's hard detecting out there man.. but you got to go cuz you never know! Okay my friend I hope to see you out there sometime.
Hi SBD , it has been a rough summer to find very much on the beach . Worst season since I started doing TH-cam 6 years ago . I blame it on the hurricanes last fall. They took out so many feet of sand that it has taken all summer for it to wash back in. Its mostly clean sand with no signals. We are just about at normal sand levels now. We do have a storm or two forming off Africa that could give us some big surf , but we will not know for a few weeks. It has been hard to keep up with a 30 minute video each week. Things should start to turn around now that the sand is mostly back . Just have to hope the surf temp does not drop too fast . We need swimmers . Hang in there and keep swinging . Hi Scott , the gulf side generally does not have surf . Very calm water compared to the Atlantic side. There are a lot of tent stakes at the beaches. That's why I don't generally dig iron signals. Just have to keep swinging. Thanks for watching .
Definitely sparse out there , wind and surf too much straight on beach , good current was ripping good to the south but only part of a 24 hr. day , need 3 days of that insanity.
