- An EDC sling is something I carry almost everyday. I love how it holds all my EDC items and when I am on the go, it stays against my body and can be worn on the front or back of me. I also feel it is more secure while traveling. This video is reviewing the slings that I tried that closely resemble the EDC sling you all loved in a previous video. I love the mini unfolding bag, I have to have one. I love watching your channel. I get so many great ideas for my trips. I always travel with my sister we cruise a lot! We arrive early and get hotel rooms, I thought I was safe until I watched your video, and you opened my eyes about hidden dangers and staying safe in hotels while traveling. Thanks, I will be using as many of your tips and will feel safer as we travel on our next adventure through the Mediterranean 3 back to back cruises starting November. With stays in Venice Italy and Miami Florida being our 3rd cruise is Transatlantic 42 days at sea, with many stops in-between. Spending time in Tampa FL visiting family before heading back home to Chicago. Being retired, I'm blessed I get to travel with my sister so many places around the world. My husband doesn't want to go, his line is, "Can't you go with your sister?" . He's a retired Navy man and civilian sailing on ships, not his thing 😅. I'll let you know how it goes. My niece and husband are 1st time cruisers (July). I've already referred them to your channel.

Little pocket in back of the first black sling the one that had the gold trim, it's a concealed carry pocket. The heavier strap would be to compensate for the weight.

I feel like I’m a bag lady as well!! I have multiple sizes of the mesh bags and love them for edc and travel. I take a packable backpack pouch on trips and love a crossbody or small sling for the plane as well as a large tote for under seat. Oh my goodness I’m so sorry to hear of your kidney disease! I was typing this when you mentioned it😢I offer my prayers for both you and David🙏🏻🙏🏻My favorite bag in video is the convertible black one. I’ve been in search of an EDC sling for several months. I found a leather fancy one, but I’ve been looking for a lightweight (or lighter weight) one for more casual wear. Thanks for showing options!
I’m so happy you found this video helpful and maybe hopefully found your next great lightweight pack. I used to use leather all the time as well because it’s very adorable but I did find it to be heavy and whenever I got wet in the rain it just started to be stained.

Just an FYI - StrongVPN - have used this one for almost 20 years, and yes, that's longer than people have been streaming. Can use it on up to 12 items, including phones, TVs and computers. Great for travel!

I usually use a RFID Vera Bradley bag, but really liked the Baggallini with the gold hardware. Prayers on you and David's health issues.

Since I carry an RFID wallet, I figure this is good enough and I also carry an RF ID passport holder so that way if I travel, everything is protected, no matter which bag I switch them into😊❤️

Loved the little mesh bags I’ve ordered some. I shared this video with Kirsten and a couple of other friends who travel. I watched you little toiletries pack but I just couldn’t bring myself to get mine that small lol.
Thanks, Karen! Those little mesh bags come in a couple of different sizes as well. The ones I show are the smallest ones.. the reason why I carry a little tiny toiletries bag like that is I’ve just spent so much time in the hospital in the last year like 36 hours and I just wanted to clean up sometimes. So it’s a great little thing to have for my purse but I am going to be doing a Toiletries bag video soon!

Another great comparison video. It's too bad about the quilted tan sling being sold out because it is a nice bag. I prefer a much smaller bag for EDC. I used an Aer Daysling 2, X-Pac, and a Lululemon large belt bag the most during my travels. When I would go on excursions, and needed to bring a "toilet" bag, I just used a cloth shoulder bag, to hold an umbrella, water bottle, my toilet kit (seat covers, toilet paper, soap flakes) etc. My favorite from the video was the packable sling

I love how you carry the toilet things with you especially if you’re going to be traveling in Asia many places don’t have toilet paper, so you always need to bring some thing.😊🙏❤️
What a wonderful reminder that a sensible bag can be fashionable too! I do not need to enter because I have a similar bag I have from Eddie Bauer's that I got 70% off. (Ended being only $7.20) Like the one that folds into itself. I'm taking a train trip to a far off place for a week and will be on foot most of the time and will be taking my sling bag. Congratulations on the 25K! 🥳 I love hearing your pros & cons for each bag - you definitely have more travel experience than I . I was a little concerned about the lack of RFID protection, but I just saw little protective envelopes you can buy in either passport or credit card sizes, so that will probably be my next thing to buy. Have you looked at the PacSafe line of bags? They have loads of security features (slash-proof, locking zippers, etc.) but are still quite light. My prayers are with you for a full recovery. Cheers!

I also carry an RFID wallet, so that way no matter what bag I choose to carry everything is protected😊 I have seen the pack, safe bags and they are pretty great line!❤️

I just found you online and subscribed. I have a granddaughter that is going to Italy this summer for an archeological dig with her college. She has never traveled overseas before, so I was looking for videos to help her know what to bring with her and found your channel. She is now watching you as well. @Paige I love the packable sling and will be getting one for my travels. Thank you. For travel, I really like the Travelon Anti-theft bags. I've used mine all over the world and bought one for my daughter for her travels. She loves it as well. They are great as the pockets and compartments actual lock. They also are made of a material that a knife can't cut into. So very safe.

Something you might want to check out is biaggi bags and their packing cubes and Norwex products that may help you with getting your cleaning products you take downsized a bit! I have a Lug Canter bag, and I love it! It has carry handles, crossbody strap, and backpack straps. My favorite part is the clear zipper pouch inside. Totally recommend! Other lug bags look great too.

I love my Ameribags! I have a medium size and a large one. Super comfortable to wear, lots of great pockets, and looks nice. I had both bags for over a decade and they are still in good shape.

I like packing lighter and leaner, but honestly, I just need more things than most people. I must be able to add a bottle of water. I’d also like my sling to be my daily purse,so it needs to look nice. God bless you with good health! I enjoy your well thought out videos.
I agree if you 100% and I do have a new sling/waist pack that I carry that looks amazing and is really slims what hides well when you need to board the plane with it so I’ll be doing a video on that in the next couple of weeks💕😊

I like using my "Personal Flex Bag" that I bought from a Facebook ad many years ago. It is very slim yet holds my phone, Kindle Fire HD, wallet and more. I'm sure the inspiration for its design came from a underarm concealed carry rig. The strap goes across my chest and the bag sits nicely under my arm. I often forget to remove it before I get in the car to drive because it is so comfortable. Because it rests comfortably on my side, it can't be seen when I wear a vest or loose shirt. I wear this bag when I don't want to fuss with purse straps or something flopping, swinging around as I bend down to look at something. Primarily, this bag is perfect for concerts, the fair, travel and other situations where pickpockets could be a concern. The concerts I go to require the use of a 12x12x6" clear tote bag. I can put my flex bag in the clear bag (along with disguised and not permitted snacks and collapsible water bottle) just to get through security or, just wear it covered by a vest or loose shirt.
At concerts, I can dance and jump around without hitting anyone with a purse or placing a purse on my seat "hoping" it isn't taken or placing it on the dirty floor to be stepped on or taken.
The only drawback to the flex bag is that it won't fit any purchases that I make. I carry a couple nylon shopping bags that fold up to the size of a credit card. At concerts, that 12x12x6" clear bag really holds a lot of merch 😂 and mine zips closed to slow down fellow fans.
I bought my three (black, grey, lavender) from Flex Moves dot CO dot UK for less than $40 a piece. You can search "flex bag" on Amazon and Google and find several variations and prices, but the same idea. I've found one on the Temu website/app that is $4.94 and is in my shopping cart. I'm curious about the quality. I'm waiting for my first Temu order to arrive in the next couple days with a number of other tote bags and a knock off TRTL travel pillow. I adore my original TRTL and wanted a back up. I paid $30 and the current price is $50. Temu is $5.78.
