Paul Smith sorry ro roust you commercial fished 25 years never wore one or had to use one .we all grew up surfing fishing diving .Laguna . .for kids is a for sure
that is a good looking fishing boat built for the job mate. my boat is a seahog seatrooper very fast and economical had 28 knots out of her on a flat day
This boat belongs to my mate and its only done what you can see in the video, so its a bit early to say, we recon about 4-5 gallons an hour roughly. Because its a brand new engine the highest we ran it was 4500 rpm, which gave us a speed of 18.5 knts. That is as you can see with 2 kids and 6 adults, I recon she will be capable of about 30 knts. It realy was a lovely smoothe ride with that hull length.
Your welcome, I have one the same but the batteries are over her keel ans she sits absolutely flat. They are a superb boat, are youi viewing this with getting one in mind?
No I'm not, but my mate is. We currently keep our boats at a beach club. I've got a predator165 and its pretty good. The economy is the best thing, but beach launching is really damaging to the hull. My mate wants a bigger boat he currently has a wilson 20, he definately wants a 24 but there is no way he will be able to keep it in our club. He could keep it at the club next door but I think he would rather fist himself on live tv than do that so I t hink it will be Eastbourne marina.
Value for money is great, this boat is of semi-commercial layup, and where can you get a brand new 24 foot boat for about £10000 ? Stability is great aswell, and although it is a dory, it does`nt slam into a chop unless it gets too choppy, but even then I would`nt call it a slap, its more like a gentle slap. Pound for pound, value for money and pure space for fishing, you wont get a better boat in this price bracket. Have a look on boats and outboards on the net, you can get some real bargains.
Because there are two 110 amp liesure batteries there, this was the first time in the water and was an exercise to sort things out such as this, we have counter weighted her on the port side accordingly. Hope this answers your question.
woody you should know better strong currents and kids with no life jackets....adults its their own risk but kids not your best moment..but very nice boat all the same.
6 adults and 2 kids - not one wearing a life jacket. It's too late when you are in the water, mate. They are not expensive and they can save your life. Just a thought
Nice to see every one is wearing a life jacket !!
Paul Smith LMAO

I thought it was Wilson Boats California . They make nice commercial rigs . .
tell me about this boat.
I have seen videos of the type, what are the selling points to notice?
What sort of speed vs economy do you get with the 140 (I assume it is a df140)?
Why is it listing to starboard?
Plenty of deck space for fishing
Would be nice to see some life jackets, if only on the kids.
Have a look, a valid comment, but there is a hydrostatic life raft, eperb and life jackets very close to hand.
