As someone who has played both for a huge amount of time, I'll take 2nd Encore's menu theme over Mobile's any day. The song isn't bad or anything, but you hear it on repeat for hours and hours of time total and it gets so grating after you've played the game for months because of how repetive it is. 2nd Encore's menu music is really simple just being some light notes but you never get tired of it, but Mobile's while it has more clear personality and complexity is absolutely everywhere throughout the game and you'll be hearing it as much as every single other song in the series combined pretty much.
Oddly enough, I love both equally. It might be a thing where people get bored of the theme depending on what they play it on so when they hear a different version of it, they go "Finally, GOOD music".
Why do i feel like the two themes combined would make the perfect menu theme? Like, one clearly has more personality than the other (which fits A LOT in a game like skullgirls), but it also makes it feel kinda repetitive when you are listening to it a third of the time u are playing the game
i love both- 2E sounds the way it does because everything about the fighting game is high-energy and moves at a breakneck pace, while mobile takes a more focused look at the world and story of skullgirls, and that’s reflected in the menu music. i haven’t played much of the mobile version, since i’m a fighting game fan, but i respect the hell out of both versions! i’m admittedly not a fan of the mobile fighting mechanics, but i LOVE sg’s world and characters, so i should give it another fair shake some time.

I've heard the mobile versions so much that I actually appreciate second encores more. Also it's admittedly too easy to dance to it. It's to the same degree of comparing "criminal intent" vs "Mayhem dressed in a suit"

Honestly, I like the PC version more, and you can do a variety of attack combos and other things, Which in the mobile version, It's nothing more than just tapping the screen, also it seems to be a gacha style game basicallyit's of pure luck, you win a good character. 2ndEnc music is good bc it’s just directly to fighting basically, keeps you upbeat n shit, mobile’s menu music is good bc the menu itself is so vast, it’s like you’re exploring a gang’s hideout and ogling at all the treasures inside of it.
Imma be honest withchu chief. The themes reflect how you're gonna be feeling while you play. Main Skullgirls has major combo game that keeps you on the highest alert and at the peak of your ability. Mobile Skullgirls has the easier combo game, extremely chill and simple to pull off. There's times where it ramps up, but it's very calm most of the time.
I played both and the theme music for PC is a bit calm but very nice for the theme of the game while the mobile version packs more punch it doesn't have that special flare that the PC version has. I might just be biased though cause i like the PC version more.

Both are definitely amazing but I prefer the PC theme for the faster paced fighting game menu feel that still hits the jazzy feel they were going for.
