Quick tour and overview of my 2006 Saturn Vue Redline. Sorry about the poor footage again, this video and the previous video were recorded at the same times and both experienced the same issues.
I’m looking to get a 2005 right now with 105k miles for 6k. It’s a one owner and and flawless condition inside and out. Is there anything that goes bad with the vehicle that I should know before I purchase it? Electronics that go bad anything like that? I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 aero and stupid things go bad with it that are super annoying like the windows won’t go up, my sunroof stopped working, my passenger side lock won’t unlock with the remote etc. these things really annoy me as they never happened with any other Japanese vehicle I ever owned. Would really appreciate your help
Yeah man I've got a 2003 I'd like to switch it to the red line and then also I found a supercharger and turbo kit that's available for my 2.2 cuz I have the 4 cylinder with a 5-speed but I have almost three hundred thousand miles and I would imagine I have to do a good engine and transmission freshen up before I do all that but it runs good and everything works the interior is flawless
I have an 07 white v6 it’s in perrrfect condition. Taking it to the shop Monday to fix my fuel system leak (just fumes) and replace my timing belt since it just hit 100k miles. Thinking about modding her after she’s all fixed up!! I absolutely love my Vue!!
Just sold it a little over a year ago. It was a great car. It was involved in a collision, but it was repaired. It just got old, and the subframe rotted out due to my brother never really washing the car.
I have the same exact model and year of that vue, I want to to the same things on the exterior that you did. What did you do? Was it spray paint the rims and calipers? As well as spray all the chrome pieces black and how did you do it?
For the chrome and the wheels, I used black plastidip. The brakes I used red rustoleum paint, it doesnt have to be high temp, I didnt use high temp on any of my cars and they all still look good.
JM811Cars thanks for the info and what to use, but one own last question; I know how to spray the rims and brakes but when doing the exact colors on the chrome and not affecting the red insignia what did you do? Did you take them off somehow and do so or what because I haven’t tried to take chrome off, I just don’t wanna damage the car and/or spray the red parts. I’m just making sure I do it right.

@@woady96s32 ohh, they're awesome cars... still have this one actually, just has been sitting though. My brother wrecked it, but it was fixed and now has an orange hood lol. The foot well lights are super easy to add, you can buy them on Amazon. A lot of them plug into the 12v outlet. They tape up under the dash to something, make sure you clean what you stick them to with rubbing alcohol first. I just ran the wires through the center council area

I'm trying to do a few things to mine. What's the name of the exhaust pipe? I just. Added the k&n intake to my engine but I want that exhaust sound. The name of the heated seat mod you added. I'm losing my shit cause you have AWD... HOW... The bulbs for the odometer and domes please. What sub model and amp? I have pioneer and kickers in my doors but I need a sub. Sorry I'm asking for a lot. I'd appreciate it! P.s. I lost door panel fasteners and can't find replacements
Exhaust is just a thrush glasspack from AutoZone that is welded in place of the factory muffler. The cluster lights are b8.4d bulbs. The map lights are 194 bulbs. The dome lights, I forget but www.superbrightleds.com will give you ALL of the lights. The subwoofer is just a cheap $30 12 inch Dual from Wal-Mart which actually is really good for the price.
My mom has a really beat up 2006 Vue. I'm planning on buying it from her and turning it into a project car. How much do you think it would cost to redo a lot of the car? Like interior, rims, brakes, exhaust, and everything.

@@Jay-vd5fn hey bud i know its pretty late but 8 to 9 grand is plenty enough u should have extra i have a 2007 saturn vue 2.2 with lots of upgrades i got led lights inside and out cold air intake, stage 3 performance chip, magnaflow exhaust system keyless remote start touchscreen radio with backup camera and nice rims ive spent all together around 2300 and im telling u now my car turns heads everywhere i go so good luck on your project

I've had no issues with any of them, and I've even had one with 246k original miles on it

Those interior lights are not factory. They are supposed to be for heated seats.

Yabby Gideon Yes, they're a direct swap. The hard part is finding the bumpers, but you can find some on ebay

They're really good cars. They have the bulletproof Honda 3.5 v6 and the Honda 5 speed auto (which is bulletproof as well if maintained)
Does your rear wiper work yet? Mine does not. Mine being a regular red veu.. wrap that exposed sub wire in electric tape. Know one will ever know😉
Yeah, mine works... occasionally when not used for a while, it hangs up the first few wipes, then be fine

Do you have moonroof problems? Like closing it and it sinks down a bit?
im100percentg yeah, it can be realigned easily though... two rear screws... loosen them one at a time and push up on the glass then tighten them
