I think jyp is easy to audition for in my opinion in the sense of they search potential/star quality/personality rather then singing. Should you know how to decently sing and dance ? For sure, but jyp himself said that they search for the potential and personality one has because they strongly believe singing and dancing can be taught and improved on
EDIT: I just wanted to say that I know jyp mistreats their artists like overworking them. I know the audition is still hard but it'd still be the company I would audition as it'd be the easier for me to audition; other people may not think that and they're allowed yo, it's their opinion

Jyp is the hardest company to give audition because if u know that jhope and iu give there first audition in jyp and jyp rejected them I think iu and jhope is very talented but jyp reject them but now they to successfully debut in other companies, I think jyp is not easy company to give audition Correct me if I am wrong , 😅u can give in yg😊 but only when if u can uncomfortable and shorts cloth I am not scaring you, just telling if u can then 👍

I really want to be a K-pop idol, but my parents don’t support me at ALL, and if I got in, they wouldn’t let me travel to Korea. I’m an M.E Asian( Middle-eastern Asian) so I do kinda fit into the Korean standard, yk heartshaped lips, a bit of aegyo-Sal and a thin face, yet I don’t have white skin, Im not slim but I’m not fat and I have almond eyes, i dont know about my singing skills, I mean I think they are 50/50 they are good but not the best, dancing skills I actually don’t know I never really dance, but I think I would be good at it even tho I’m not flexible, I learn pretty fast. For my personality I think I’m not bad but not perfect, I mean my teacher thinks I’m charming, smart, funny, empathetic, generous and nice. But that’s her thoughts not theirs. I can even speak 3 languages and currently learning 2 The main reason I can’t is my parents bc, even if the company I’m in gives me a free flight to Korea, my parents wouldn’t let me. So that’s the main reason I can’t it’s actually kind of like a prison (kinda bc they don’t support me for who I am and who I want to be and they don’t let me be free and they forget that I’m not 10 anymore and that I am actually mature now.

I am Arab (Palestinian) and I do experience a lot of racism and I will probably experience more if I became es K-pop idol, but that’s okay. I’m still not supported by my parents:(

This is brutally honest, so PLEASE read at your own discretion.
1.) It will be difficult (but not impossible :) ) for you to get into companies, simply because of what country you were born in.
2.) It's good that you fit the standards, but I'd recommend taking some singing classes along with it
3.) You do seem like a smart and well-educated, which is a major bonus- make sure to be kind and polite in front of judges if you were to audition
4.) The parents. This is going to be really difficult for you- not going to sugar-coat it. Your parents just want to protect you, and you are probably 12-15, which is still EXTREMELY young- and they see you as their precious little girl. They want the best for you, and the industry is freaking brutal! You are going to have a hard time.
5.) If you do debut, you are going to face a lot of hate and racism from a very young age. be prepared.
6.) If you do debut, I'll Stan you! You are already my bias lol 🤩

You forgot about beauty, you should be attractive enough. Let's say everyone is equally talented then ofcourse they're gonna choose the most good looking. In reality idols looks attractive. If not then they're one of the most talented.
If the trainee doesn't meet the standarts they just give them a plastic surgery

i wanna do this but at the moment the only thing in the video i've accomplished is, well, being korean. i'm from a korean family and was raised with korean culture. my dad is a church singer and i get some of my singing skills from him but i still need to work on technique. i also don't know what to tell my parents because they will def laugh and think i'm joking when i tell them i want to become an idol.
@@yellowsnailq23 my parents, especially my mother, takes studying very seriously. she comes from a very smart family, and her older sister even got a scholarship at yonsei (the most famous uni in korea), so she wants me to live up to her name as well. as for my father, he is a pastor and church singer, and he's been stanning groups and duos like akmu ever since he was young like me. he's been praised for his skills many times and my mother has stated that i take after my father, but she has absoliutely no interest in letting me become an idol.
i do also really like txt and stray kids. my ults 🥰i'm in no position to have a chance to audition or even attempt in becoming an idol, but i'll never know unless i try.

Once a girl . She was not Korean but wanted to become kpop idol . She knows that her parents will didn't allow her to go to audition. She secretly did training at home by learning from TH-cam . She sing everyday dance everyday. When she thinks she is perfect to complete audition. She did online audition secretly ( if you don't know how to do learn from Google or TH-cam) she pass it and Surprise her parents but her parents didn't allow her but she was requesting and parents can't see their kid crying 😭 so they let her go Korea and becoming kpop idol unfortunately she fail to debut but she didn't tell to her parents and know she is a successful kactress and a model
But you are Korean your father is a church you can tell him to teach you singing at least some tips do it

I think you can audition but you must not hide your scars and explain to them because by lying about one thing the company might not trust you anymore because they might think you might lie to the agency in the future 🫶

If your are a girl, I recommend you do any song by the K-pop idol named “jessi” she has some famous songs and she raps, if u are male, I recommend you do any Enhypen song but the best ones are tamed-dashed, given taken or paradoxx invasion (best for rappers) that’s my opinion tho

I'm 13 and want to become an idol. I'm pretty, a good dancer, good rapper, I speak fluently 2 languages, have a good level in english (B2) and start learning korean.
The problem(s) is that I'm a bad singer (I think that's because I have litteraly no technique),I am totaly European (I know now there some idols that aren't even asians but still) and my mother will never accept (I have an half-korean friend who've said that he want to be an idol and have even auditionned, they were almost joking of him) but I know that my father's never gonna stop me, and my mother couldn't make her dreams come true, so maybe if I prove her that that's my dream she's gonna accept ?
Still, I don't have the courage to tell my family that and I gonna wait a little bit to improve, but if you have advices on anything, can you share them with me please ?

You can’t addition in your 20s. You could try for jyp or other entertainment companies that have a no age limit. Most companies accept trainees from 15-19

Yes every idol is on a diet when we look at pre-debut photos we can see that the idols are already thin but they still follow the diet and also exercise

you cant really know because its different for everybody so just audition to as many as possible
If you want to audition for 4 big companies then here is the answer :-
YG :- Rap
JYP :- stage presence and dance
HYBE :- you should be all rounder like, you should know dance,vocals,rap,stage presence and producing songs , yes, it's tought but if you have all these talents or can improve these then you can do it
SM :- visuals and vocal.
I know that all companies focus more on visual but SM focus completely on visuals and if your visual is not good they will tell you to do plastic surgery and if you will not listen to them then you aren't allowed to debut.

You can work part time if you have work visa
It is the company that will pay you all that is food housing singing and dancing lessons and if you make your debut they will take the money you bring you and your group to reimburse all the years of training
On the other hand, your group must work well because otherwise you will be forced to live with debts and manage on your own while working
Also it is not the company that pays for your plane tickets if you are taken
@@Mintlee- some of what you said are right while some are wrong. Big companies or even small companies that really want you will pay for your plane tickets and will most probably not ask for trainee debt too (I can only say for the big3 tho, not included hybe since they take trainee debt seriously)
