- Just a quick video showing off this cool mod by Vasilii Shirokii. I disabled bloom and the fluid simulation for blood in this.

This is amazing and all, but not grabbing the ssg was incredibly painful.
Ssg for noobs
You are absolutely damn right
This is infinitely better than the main trailer for this mod. I would 100% play the game like this. Looks great.
This demonstrates a simple principle that virtually all great artists have known for a millenia. Lightning not detail makes a work of art. Happy that game devs are starting to learn that! This looks phenomenal.
@@MarkFennimoreAgree 100%. You can tell doom 2 has a greater focus on lights and darks compared to doom 1 ray traced where there's usually one light source and everything else is darkness
It looks so gorgeous. Good job to the artist who did this.
Using the voxel models instead of sprites enhances the experience even more
looks the same it did in my mind in 1994 :D
2:08 is that a Tiny Desk Engineer?
Very amazing doom in ray traced graphic
When people ask 'can it run doom' i dont think this is what they meant
Then answer this: Who the f@#k you think you are to not to think this is what they meant, huh?
Why didn’t you grab the SSG
Fuck it, we are doom 3 now
That soundtrack giving goldeneye vibes
Doom, the LEGO game jajaja
Is it possible to make the lights and shadows a bit more subtle? The environment ends up becoming too dark and all the highlight colors are too bright (look at the way the green color on the monitors now appears almost white instead).
@@Gencoil that's my main problem with hdr today, I don't think most developers know how to use it wihtout oversaturating everything
Looks like Minecraft zombies
Can’t wait for mods like this to be on consoles!
This is not using Cheello's voxel Doom models correct? But it looks like it's using different models using voxels, has more of a Minecraft look to them.
They look ugly af but I didn’t know if they were different or the lighting just makes the blocky nature look more apparent
It is using Cheello's Voxel DOOM. They just look different because of the lighting. In 'vanilla Voxel DOOM', the whole voxel model uses the same shading, but here every 'block' is shaded realistically individually, leading to the 'Minecraft look'.
Probably, it's Cheello models, but raytracing and absence of interpolation between voxel cubes makes it look Manecraftish. Maybe, other shader methods, say particles with raymarching (like cloud/smoke) instead of polygons, should change that blocky appearance.
@@PenguinDT Really? That's crazy that the lighting has such an impact on the models like that, it makes them look completely different, although in this case, I think it's not for the better.
This is awesome, but not grabbing the double barrel? 😅
The fluid blood is fun. turn it back on.
I have this but need brutal doom to work with it 😢
Wish it work with AMD like my 7900xtx
What are your specs? Thanks.
12700k with 32GB of RAM and a 4090
Just to let you know, you don't need to spend $2000+ on a GPU to play this, I have a Raptor Lake i5 and a 4060 and it plays smoothly at the default settings with blood simulation etc. at 1080p, no problems.
@@yellowblanka6058 how i install this form 0¿?
Does it work with VR mod?
Plese play with burtal doom i love burtal doom it is the bestest mod ever
The minecraft models look out of place.
That's your takeaway on this. Lol, people are garbage.
Doom 2, you cant see shit version
