Thank you so much. I was one of the viewers who asked for quilting on home machine demos. I have lots of projects to quilt. You showed me a few things I have been doing wrong. Now my work should turn out much better. Great job. I appreciate learning how to do things correctly. I've only been self-taught thru trial and error. Lol.
Love this wall hanging I intend on trying it. I learned great deal of things I didn’t know about straight line quilting thank you (specifically how to use the bar properly) ❤
Great tutorial. I’m a huge fan of spray basting my quilts. Also always use a water erasable marker which is so easy to work with. Both spray basting and water erase markers are a game changer!
I always learn so much when watching your videos. Great presentation. Camera person did a good job of capturing the small details of the knots and needle eye.
Thank you for teaching us. I have done very little quilting myself, but I want to do more especially on the smaller projects. I enjoy your channel very much.
Thanks again Janette for your informative video. I always learn something new and today I learned about drawing the line on the border for straight line quilting.❤
Thank You for this video, I've wanted to learn a better way to do straight line quilting. Your video was very good in the explanation process. Along with easy to follow instructions. I especially like the way you showed doing the borders. And tieing off the ends, along with hiding the threads That was great. Looking forward to more of your videos, I joined your site because I think I might learn more things when it comes to quilting.
I have been piecing for years but boy I have done remarkably little machine quilting! The word chicken comes to mind as in I am chicken to do this. I feel a little braver now. I have never seen that clue about the corners before or using the self threading needles to get the threads taken care of! Thank you so much for sharing this! I do have one question and that is that you were not using a walking foot. Does that Bernina have the automatic even feed? My Bernina‘s are much older the newest is the original 830! So I would imagine I would be needing to use my walking foot. As I said before what a great video! Thank you, thank you, thank you!😸
Where can I find the pattern for this wall hanging/tabletopper? So adorable! Thanks for this tutorial! Takes a bit of intimidation out of straight line quilting!
The spray baste has been a game changer for me.

Thanks for the tip on framing borders I do that and always hard to know when to stop and turn next corner😀
Thank you. I really appreciate your lesson.

Thank you for sharing, I’m new to quilting
Great tips again. Really helps me. Thanks so much.
Thanks for this demo! Just recently found your channel. One of the best! ❤
Beautiful quilting. Glad to see you bury the needle.
Thank you Jeanette, was very informative
Excellent tips! Thank you
Thank you Jeanette
It’s beautiful, please can you show us how to make the hearts as they are larger than normal. Thank you.
Thank you some great tips!
That 505 spray is wonderful. I detest pin basting quilts. I’d rather thread baste them than use safety pins.
Thanks ❤
Thank you
Thank you ❤
Love the hearts. Is there a tutorial for how to make the hearts n size. Thank you.

Hello! Glad this video helped with some tips. Jeanette uses a Bernina 570 which has a built in dual feed, which was enabled during the quilting.
Can you also use this guide when you're sewing your quarter inch to make your blocks?
I'd like to know how you do your hanging sleeves. Great tutorial. I might be brave enough to try one.
Make sure you subscribe as we plan on launching a video on hanging sleeves very soon!
These tutorials are wonderful Jeannette! Do you lower your feed dogs when straight line quilting on the machine?
Hi Amber, Thanks for the kind words. Jeanette doesn't lower the feed dogs when straight line quilting.
Could you demonstrate how you would spray baste a large quilt - I always tack mine and it does hurt your knees after awhile 😂
Where can I find the pattern for this wall hanging/tabletopper? So adorable! Thanks for this tutorial! Takes a bit of intimidation out of straight line quilting!
Hello Paula, Our video tutorial on the wall hanging is available here: th-cam.com/video/nbcZvEst2Ds/w-d-xo.html
Is there a reason you did not use a walking foot? Great hints for marking minimally. Thanks.
Hi Dorothy, Jeanette has the Dual Feed enabled during the quilting which is Bernina's equivalent to a walking foot!
@@SewingStudio thank you so much for your response....that clears up my question nicely.
FYI I sprayed a small amount which set off the natural gas alarm that was across the room. I'll use it next to patio door in future.
Which wadding are you using?
My word just to much chatter not enough sewing
