Total goals, total disposals, average goals, average disposals, or in general the most complete player? Would you consider players from the SANFL, WAFL, NTFL or any other state leagues or would VFL/AFL players only considered like the norm at the moment? How do you just stumble upon that either Leigh Matthews or Wayne Carey are the only two players to be considered for the GOAT without bring up a single statistic other than BnF's and Goals?
