600 subscribers special (pt.1) Railfanning a hot and sunny day at Menlo Park and San Carlos!!

These days railfanning I decided I would Railfan for a bit at both Menlo Park and San Carlos station. The first day, I Railfanned Menlo Park Caltrain station to see what kind of trains I’ll see. I was able to get 3 Caltrains within a good time although I missed one also because I had lunch. The Caltrains I saw at Menlo Park was one “Baby Bullet” set and two “Gallery Car” sets. All the trains had EMD F40PH locomotives, and one of them, had Caltrain (JPBX) 921. JPBX 921 is an EMD F40PH with a very fouled P2 horn. Hearing this horn made me laugh as I never heard such a fouled horn like that. The next day, I went to San Carlos station as it was very close to the hotel I was staying at. I thought of spending an evening at San Carlos to see what trains I would catch. Note, I railfanned Menlo Park and San Carlos on a weekday and weekend so the symbols may vary on which train I caught by looking at the schedule and time. As I railfanned San Carlos, I was able to get two Baby Bullet sets with one having JPBX MP36PH 928 and two other Gallery sets. It turned out to actually be a really fun time railfanning as I got to see Caltrain for the first time. I hope you enjoyed the video and till then I’ll see you guys down the line!! 😃⭐️
