  • If you haven't tried Nadi Shodhana yet, it's the Jam.
    Out of all of the pranayamas, my teacher loved it the most, and made me learn all of the others first, because she felt that once you learn this one, it's hard to go back to the others.

    My favourite breath practice before bed. Legs up the wall then this, guaranteed nights sleep! Thanks Tim 🙏🏼 I'm only 2 lessons away from becoming a qualified yoga teacher, so excited to start teaching. Bringing all I've learned from yourself, Adrienne and the very much missed Lesley Fightmaster. Thanks for teaching me and giving me the confidence and knowledge to fulfill my dreams. Love and light 🧘🏼‍♀️ 💜

    You make it sound so easy. I find this breath exercise much easier to do than sitting meditation. Perhaps because it requires one to do more than merely notice. Feels good. Glad someone bailed you out! Thanks, Tim.

    yes a wonderful way to start the day even if it is set in a garage. i think the coolest locations are in fact when you are out in nature somewhere either up on your terrace or when you used to film on the beach. for me feeling part of/observing the natural world while practising are wonderfully complementary

    Great pranayama. I don't mind the cinder blocks. Great contrast for seeing what you're doing. My house is made of cinder blocks. They're everywhere in Florida. The mirror in the corner is a bit of a distraction though. One more day! I hope the CMC gets lots of new members. It's definitely worth it. Thank you, Tim. Namaste.

    I did the full mobility and the stretching first. This was a wonderful ending.
    I really appreciated the reminder about the "fog breathe" (not sure how to spell the proper name). This type of breathing really helps me with not sucking air but breathing smoothly.

    Thanks for this, it came at the right time, I'm dealing with some post COVID respiratory stuff and Nadi Shodhana was recommended. I'm also doing all your gentle 10 - 15 min sessions just one per day to keep my body healing. If you have any other recommendations for post COVID fatigue, I'm here for it. Namaste

    • @yogawithtim
      @yogawithtim  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Liesl. I'm not a doctor so I can't give Covid-specific answers. What I have heard from the experts in the field is that Covid often has a long recovery. I would encourage you to be patient and continue with the gentle 10 - 15 min sessions. If you like the short ones there's more on the channel. In your Google search bar type in th-cam.com/users/yogawithtimvideos
      On the opening page - at the top of the page in the middle - click on PLAYISTS. To the far right you will see a right-pointing arrow. Click on this arrow. Then you will see a magnifying glass icon. Click on this icon. Type in 15 minute Then you’ll see all the 10, 15, and 20 minute videos available.
      You may also like the Beginner Series for the easier, more gentle workouts. Same instruction as above except type in beginner 😉

    Does anyone else struggle to get the air in? I don't have any breathing or sinus issues but it feels very restricting to use only one nostril. Breathing out is smooth, it's the intake that is troublesome.
