After paying for a subscription from Makers Gonna Learn, I’m a little disappointed, but I guess that’s the price you pay when your new to certain things, your just trying to get all the information that is going to help you become a great crafter. So funny, while watching I've been getting caught up on gifts and I was weeding iron for a koozie that says "teacher fuel" when you were working on the "Mom fuel" mug.
I love your videos on making gifts! I made most of my gifts this year 2024. I know this is 2023. I made some of those hot pads with cookie mix. But I bought snowflake cookie cutters and my mom sewed them on lightly to hang in front of the pocket instead of buying a ton of iron on.

Me again. 😁 A suggestion for the Santa & reindeer 🥛🦌 placemats: If you use a napkin on it, you cover the cute writing, but if you use plain glass saucers for the carrots 🥕 and cookies, 🍪 it's now "food safe" without covering your cute sentiments. Just a thought... 💭
i love your absolute love of giving! and diy dollar store is a great way to gift your local workers, coworkers, friends, family, and families friends. and the list doesnt have to stop there! depending on your budget, of course! but if you have and extra $5-$10 pick up a few extra things with the thought of donating them to a local homeless shelter or orphanage or kids program or soup kitchen or wherever accepts donations in your area!!! you inspired this idea in me with your love of giving, and i will ba making some late drop-offs this year and starting my new yearly tradition of good
I really liked that you used a placemat for the Santa cookie project...I've always seen it on a wood cutting board which is nice but I have a million placemats and only plastic cutting boards and no space for something so specific. Rudolph's red nose lollipop was ADORABLE

I have a cricut Joy but the 2 vinyl projects I did with them were very disappointing. i lost faith that I can do it so left it standing in a corner… Watching this video, your calm voice, clear explanations and soooo many great projects made me jump of the couch and cut simple words (cat names) from vinyl AND I stick them on planks. I loved this video. I am almost done with my sisters gifts. Just have my nieces left. The one I have left is a black silhouette of Cinderella then I add rhinestones, buttons and paper flowers I cut and made on my Cricut. I finished Tinkerbell and Malificent ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much for showing all of these wonderful ideas. I am so nervous when using my cricket machine. It always takes me so long to make just one project. This video has inspired me to try to make some small quick projects. The last project I was trying to workin was a sweater and I gave up because I couldn’t remember how to use the HTV. I’m usually really good at following videos but for some reason I can’t seem to get it right when using the cricket machine. I will see if someone is offering an in person class at my local craft store. Other than that I really appreciate you sharing your ideas, they all turned out beautifully.

I am new to your channel, but it's definitely inspiring! Tip for getting the transfer tape straight every time: lay down the unexposed half first to line it up, then press the exposed inch down. With this video being a year old, you may have figured that out already, but wanted to share. :)

I LOVE everything you made, 💝 and I know you said you're a "less is more" type of girl, but I just thought I would make a suggestion for the snowflake candy filled jars. I think some of that VERY TINY red and white twisted string (that looks like candy cane) would be SO CUTE 👌🏼 added to the rims of the jars filled with the starburst candy pieces (just above the square part of the jar, and below the lid). To ME, it just felt like they were screaming 😁 for that tiny bit of embellishment to make them PERFECT, for ME! 💎

I printed out white gingerbread houses and put them on my craft paper wrapped gifts. Turned out so precious and I had a village of houses under the tree. Loved your video. God Bless and Merry Christmas.
