I'll always love 510s but, current build a 73 240z restomod and a sister car 78 280z chassis striped to match the 240 chassis( removing all extra brackets reinforcements I can to match 240z weight. Both using modded L28 with twin carbs .very narrow flares, spoilers ,lowered 7x15 two vintage Daily drivers. One blue interior and accents on , white the other red interior and accents on white. My step daughter gets the 240z. For years she had one in her virtual garage, never dawned on me, she never saw one in person , only in video games ! She was shocked at the actual size,which was just ,cute!

Rad, I never miss JCCS and Toyotafest. Two of my all time favorites shows. I was there somewhere at JCCS. Like always, I need more time to check it the cars and catch up with friends. I had my Cressida holding it down at the parking lot but I spent the whole day there as if I was part of the show. Best car had to be that 1JZ X3 Cressida with the zebra STI seats. Best wheel had to be Pat’s Super Rivers on the Kenmeri.

Can people in California explain to me how they have a modified car with so many restrictions and inspections to pass? Anytime I think of moving there the thought of that instantly turns me off. Im in a place either no inspections at all
Pre 1975 does not get tested, newer vehicles can use CARB approved parts, if the aftermarket pays to have them tested and they make it to market, or they register in one of the few counties without smog testing or out of state, or get illegal smogs. My DD is a 79 Chevy pickup and I went with the carb parts, which are not cheap and it barely passes smog. I can hear the pro cars run at California speedway, when the weather is right. Immediately, I recognized the speedway and the mountains in the background to the North.
