I think the changement for making anixety not a true evil character is actually the best choice they could have made... Because yes anxiety make people suffer (I'm very anxious and do often panic attacks so I know what it is) but like in the movie "she just wants to protect her"... When I'm getting anxious it's because I just want to be a better person but too much anxiety make people suffer. We must live with anxiety and accept her in our life, we must understand her and know how to cope with her.. Because there is no truly bad emotions, anger could be the bad guy for somebody who have anger issues but everyone NEED anger it the exact same thing with anixety we NEED anxiety and she is important, it's a very human emotion... So yeah make her a big villain or kille her (like an other ending a saw) is really not a good idea for me
I think that the version of the film we got was perfect, though I do like a few of the videos for anxiety's different forms. I think that having emotions physically fight each other like was shown in the storyboard for self-loathing's part would have been rather strange though.
I feel like the Godzilla-like one and the "T.I.A" shape-shifting ideas are interesting because it makes it feels like Anxiety wasn't just supposed to be a normal emotion, and rather something else all together
