I do have lots of ideas in mind! Right now I just collect and store them, but eventually I do plan to make things with them and sell them when I have more time
If this is publicly accessible land, providing GPS coordinates would be nice for others who may wish to find their own. That could also help grow your channel. I'm one of those who enjoys getting tips and locations to find my own; instead of watching others do it or store/site purchasing anothers finds. Main reason I started checking out rockhounding videos here. This spot looks worth a visit.

If you’re looking at mines you should look at the mine promoted by Robert kiyosaki as being great. Well Him and marion Katusa that does mining deals and funding supposedly found a gold seam and made it into a public trade company now, but it’s supposed to be by eureka
I found some limonite from pyrite recently and want to clean it up… some I can chip off but some of the material is like cement on it. Is there a chemical or acid I could put on it that wouldn’t eat or damage the limonite?
I am sure you know this but HCl acid can clean off calcite, but maybe be careful with the other minerals, always safe to test a crappy piece to see how it works.
Lake Mountain (mountain on the west side of Utah lake). The exact location I was asked, by the person who showed me the location, to not give out. If I had found it myself, I would be more than happy to give the location. There may be more deposits like this on lake mountain, so I would recommend exploring! There is also the known Pelican Point area to look for limonite crystals on this same mountain.
Thanks! I used to live in NM in las cruces, and I used to go find wulfenite crystals and fluorite crystals from the abandoned mines around the Organ mountains.

Unfortunately, you are right and most are private so we went further south past silver city to some small prospects that are mostly forgotten. Anything that was a large operation is private now.

Yep, it used to be pyrite, but then started to rust away, and in the process turned into a completely different mineral!

Not that I am aware of, but I have thought about trying a small sand blaster or something.

We started in eureka but then left when we didn't find much.

Which part of eureka? I thought all of the abandoned mines there were on private property
