- Spike Milligan is interviewed by Canadian presenter Bernard Braden on the afternoon ITV nostalgia show 'All Our Yesterdays in 1988. He discusses his books and his theatre appearances in Oblomov and The Bed Sitting Room.

at 0:13 seconds he FARTS!!!!! check it out hahahaha
Spike certainly predicted the future of the degeneration of comedy.
2:48 I think he talks about Jimmy Carr in all but name here.
I have Spike Milligan's film The Bed Sitting Room, which has as part of the Extras a few Bernard Braden Interviews. Including this one and Peter Cook, and Richard Lester.
Braden was boring, my what a profound statement, he was no more 'boring' than any other Interviewer alive or dead. Its just his delivery he couldn't help that it was just him.
Braden is still boring! Has someone changed his batteries!?
Only one word for Spike genious
As far as I can recall if you have the DVD of the film The Bed Sitting Room, the Extras include 3 Bernard Braden Interviews. This 1 with Spike Milligan, another with Peter Cook, the 3rd with Film Director Dick Lester. It would be good if anyone can locate these.
Wonderful, thanks for that. Can't believe they actually edited shows like that as recently as the 80's.
Braden was a bore, how he ever got on the tv god knows. Well, he's dead now.....So God does know........Ying tong yiddle eeye Po!
I'm told there's a blend of videotape and film in this clip. I'd never have guessed.
i was made to listen/watch this guy by both ex girlfriend and a large bloke with a lot of video segments... hence bolstering myown viedo collection and making me sick of comedians...
As Spike might say, "So was his wife. She was boring too. Two boring Canadians. Now not all Canadians are boring, just most of them."
Bernard Braden looked like Fred Flintstone.
