I didn’t realize it wasn’t normal to play electric songs on acoustic and vice verse until like a month ago. I thought everybody’s finger were bleeding when they played 😅
I repeatedly hear this idea that acoustic guitar is basically elementary and has no real place generally, but I dont like that take even tho it may be true. Maybe I’m just misunderstanding or being stubborn
Cause when people think of acoustic they think chords. And simple slow melodies that are easier than electric. When in reality that's just the surface level. There are a ton of unpopular branches of acoustic that make it the hardest and insanely much harder than electric. Examples are fingerstyle guitar or percussive guitar and then u have flamenco guitar and a whole bunch of others. Annndd u can't even do those playing styles on electric because it relies on the wood and the hollowness of the guitar
Nah, I love my tele, but if it came to choosing just one. It’d be one of my acoustics. Oddly, my favorite music leans toward hard rock or metal. But i play just to relax and there’s nothing like the simplicity of an acoustic.
