The Tangir valley is located in Diamir District, Gilgit-Baltistan territory of Pakistan, at a distance of 67 km from Chilas. Its population lives mainly alongside Tangir River, a left tributary of the Indus River if you see from Islamabad side. Tangir valley from back side connects with Kandia Pass, Gupis and Phander and we reached to Gupis from Tangir through Chashi Pass, Barobas Pass, Gologah Pass and Bathirate.
