All Balkan countries have so much to offer to the visitors: they have a rich history, culture, the nature is amazing , the atmosphere is great, warm and the weather is so pleasant for all kind of sports to do. Also here the people know how to celebrate and they have real fun.
As someone coming from a Balkan country - Croatia, I can definitely agree with the prejudice but refering to the whole Balkan. As much as we have to offer in terms of culture, places, food etc., there is a huge number of people who arent open-minded and who are led by outdated cliches that are just so weird🤐

I think the chauvinism in Serbia may be directly related to former fascist-type regimes and the influence of soviet political culture. But I found this to be similar in Nepal, Albania, Bulgaria and Kampuchea, countries with strong cultural histories but challenging economies.
