Human Sadness really is Jules Magnum Opus
Binki Shapiro is the female singer in little joy! Rodrigo Amarante is the one singing most songs, including Keep Me In Mind. I agree that he sounds a bit like julian at times but to be fair he kinda has that raspy/crooner quality to his voice in all his projects, just listen to "Sentimental", by Los Hermanos, which predates Is This It.
Ah sorry for the mistake! Little Joy was completely new for me, am interested to check out Los Hermanos now for sure …
Rodrigo is definitely crooney back in the day! He has changed his style in recent years, he's so incredible as a performer
There are no drum machines used on the first two albums. It's the drums produced to sound like a drum machine
I didn’t know that! They did a pretty good job replicating that sound

He has that kind of robotic 80’s new wave thing going on … he also slips into a bit of a Julian impression sometimes too. But understandable given how close they work together
