@@TnSteyr AUG is a fantastic platform, but after paying $1700 I don't expect to make all these upgrades. I hate the Tavor, but it looks like the better option.

Have you ever had a malfunction? I've had mine 3 or 4 years and never had a problem.Ive shot done steel cased ammo, didn't have a problem.
I have had 1 or 2 , tho they were done as T&E testing things out

Got me I ran some steel the other day had a malfunction every 10th or 12th round
How would you modify the trigger linkage? And I'm regards to the magazine release, where would you get it?

it was frustrating for me mounting the talon grips on my aug ;D
I picked up a black Steyr AUG a3 m1 about a month ago. Got mine with the integrated 3 power optic. Been debating what to get for it, so far I got a Corvus Brass Deflector and anti-roto qd swivel for the rear, a Manticore Arms switchback charging handle, a WMLx light on the thin rail and I have a Primary Arms Advanced Slx piggybacking on top of the scope. Running a ferro concepts 2 point sling, which so far is working very well for me. I would like to get the Corvus mag release, but they are unobtainable atm.
Thinking of what else I may want to get for it. Been wishy washy on the Ratworx trigger sear, mostly cos I read some reviews saying it isnt drop safe and honestly I dont have a big issue with the stock trigger.
You're down the right path for your component part I have been having people for the last year asked me to review the Rat works sear. so I am out field testing to give my opinion on it.
Previously I have not been a big fan of doing any of the trigger pack mods.
@@TnSteyr I'm starting to look at plate carriers and im considering my options for 3 cell and single cell mag pouches for aug mags. Got any recommendations?
@@orcabolgsweetie2430 Not anything particular all I would say is that your physical size will determine how much weight you wish to carry an he placement of equipment. I have not used any plate carriers or armor Set UPS in some time . For the most part I run single magpouches in multiple stages

Is it possible to fast switch out the barrell with that rail, or does it get stuck with the foldable grip on the left part of the rail? thx
It works as it should the only issue I had was on the 9 mm conversion kid.
And I did a mod and it works perfectly now

Is there a 1:8 twist barrel available for these?
There was a 1 in 8 barrel for I believe Australia? Not in the USA that I'm aware of. 1:7 / 1:9 are the ones we have here
