Love the reaction. That song starts with thunder and lightning and never lets up, right up to the last crash. The Warning have an ineffable charisma on stage, the best place to experience them is live.

Pretty much nailed it. This song, more so than others from them, really demonstrates who they are and what they're about. I consider it the best song to use for an introduction to the band.

Like so many who will be watching/ commenting on your reaction to The Warning, I had lost interest in the current music scene. I stumbled across them on TH-cam in 2019 was amazed. I’m 64 and bought my first concert tickets in decades to see them open for Three Days Grace in Vancouver last November. Spectacular!
That is awesome! We hope to catch them live ourselves if (once?) they get to our necks of the woods. We'll be waiting...

Welcome to The Warning and their fan base The Warning Army (TWA). Passion, high energy, love for what they do. Combine that with incredible song writing, song arranging, and musicianship. Add in the fact that they're some of the nicest and down to earth people you will ever meet. Also one of the best live bands I've ever experienced. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have a single song in their catalog that I didn't like. I can't say enough about these amazing young women. I discovered these young women last year. After having not going to a concert since early 2000s, I saw them live 3 times last year and will see them again next week. Thank you for your reaction. More members of TWA will be dropping in with lots of info. If you have a chance to go see them live, especially if they're headlining, go see them.

The Warning are very well established in the music industry, with an incredible 10+ years of experience playing at a professional level. Their songwriting is insightful and meaningful. My gold standard is can they play live? The Warning & Band Maid are my favorite rockers for that reason. Their music videos are great also. Cool that members of both bands are mutual fans. This song was written in 2019 and recorded in 2020 for their third full-length album, "ERROR". To better understand their background, and amazing live performances, I highly recommend going back six years to their second TEDx performance in January 2017 at ages 16, 14, and 12 years: th-cam.com/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/w-d-xo.html . They play like veterans because they have been performing their own compositions in front of an audience for over 8 years. (thanks to @TheUnderdog for the correction!)
Yes please check this one. They are younger, there is more light and you can see them better and it is live and they are talking about their passion... The best video to learn about their talent imo.

They got the idea for this song in a warehouse in Canada in late spring 2019 and all their songs for their Error album was pretty much ready for recording in late 2019 so they started a Kickstarter campaign in the beginning of 2020 to finance the recording and their US tour. Then Covid arrived and all was postponed at least six months.
Will definitely check it out, just for a bit more background on this awesome band. Thank you!

לפני חודשיים, הן פתחו עבורם ב-4 הופעות במקסיקו.

There are still people who haven't heard of the Warning!? Wow! Welcome to the Warning Army!
Well, we have heard of them, it's just that we have not heard their music as yet. One of the things we talk about on the show in previous episodes is that we have been "asleep" for the past decade or so with regard to music. At some point in the past, we got discouraged by the music that was being released and the fact it lacked to inspire us. We got too busy with other things and have listened to very little new music in that time. This show (Babble On), and the music we discovered through it, have rejuvenated our love for music, especially of the rock/metal variety. We are loving discovering all these new (to us) band and all this awesome music!

You would be surprised to hear Pau's Spotify list, a lot of K-Pop and J-pop and she is the main songwriter. Note that Dany starts saying to her disciples that the Sun is the enemy today (which obviously it is not) and Pau as a good disciple in the second verse replies that yes the sun is her enemy today...tricked by the leader of the false movement. They end the song abrupt on the word ignorance to emphasize on to not be ignorant.
I'm (Itai) sure that Pau's musical taste is very wide. To be a good lyricist/songwriter it is always good to listen to as much and as varied music as possible. We love the song and the lyrics here. Such great energy and with meaningful lyrics as well. Just fantastic! More 'The Warning' episodes to come. Stay tuned!

More of The Warning would be excellent! Any of their other songs from Teatro Metropolitan on their channel are great. Their roots in classic hard rock are deep, with newer genres added in on some songs - grunge, punk, metal, etc. Kirk Hammett of Metallica said that the drummer "kicked maximum ass" when she was 12 years old, 9 years ago. She's gotten better.

The Warning is an absolutely fantastic rock trio. They burst upon the scene almost 10 years ago when they uploaded a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman for their family to watch. The video then went viral and caught the attention of the members of Metallica who were very complimentary to the girls. At the time of that video, they were 9,12, and 14. Although Spanish is their first language, they are truly bilingual. To me, they sound like they could be from my home state of Texas. Monterrey, Mexico, where they are from, is closer to San Antonio and Austin than Mexico City. That area of Mexico speaks a lot of Spanglish.
I think the message of the song is very similar to Teacher, Teacher! by Jinjer. Don't be a blind follower to what anyone says.
The Warning are big fans of Band-Maid and vice versa. There is a very sweet video of the two bands meeting at a festival, last year's Aftershock I believe.
As for the next reaction, I do hope y'all are returning to Gacharic Spin.

Yes, the message is similar to "Teacher, Teacher", and also to Hanabie's "NEET Game" and a few others. Similar message, but VERY different songs and styles. I (Itai) love that!

I think you possibly didn't understand Muse's seal of approval at the time of your comment.
TW love lots of various music, including K-pop, but they love Muse. There's a video of them through the years saying Muse is their favorite. In January 2023, Muse went to Mexico, and TW requested through normal channels to open for them. They gave up. The call hadn't been made. At nearly the last minute, TW were informed that they would open all four concerts in Mexico. At the first concert, unexpectedly, Muse showed up early to watch their opening performance. Paulina saw them and was nervous.
At the end of the four concert dates, Muse, I forget which member, approached the sisters personally and said something like, "We'd like you to open for us in the UK" The sisters were naturally shocked and speechless to have their idols invite them to Europe. I don't think any member of their team expected this.
That is the Muse seal of approval!!!

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
In 2022 they did over 100 gigs in North and South America along with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless, and Three Days Grace. They recently did four shows with Muse in Mexico. This year they are touring the US and Europe, opening for Muse five times in the UK and France (next month) and headlining in Berlin and Spain among others. They also have two shows planned in Mexico for the Fall.
They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey.
They started as a cover band and now have 47 original songs in an EP, three albums, and two singles. No bad songs. Their newest single already performed live released officially May 12th. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.
When not performing they are humble down to earth individuals. Dany is a goofball and sweetheart, Pau talks with passion like a machine gun, and Ale is an introvert and a perfectionist.

They've paid their dues and been around for a decade. They have released three albums... all amazing...an EP they wrote when they were VERY young and a couple of singles. They also have an amazing version of Enter Sandman on the Metallica Blacklist album. Their lyrical content is very mature/advanced for their ages and the meaning behind those lyrics is very deep. Great take on the meaning behind the lyrics. Their second album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is a concept album and it's an absolute masterpiece of dark storytelling. Keep digging...you're going to love where they take you.

The Warning are very good at writing meaningful lyrics, but leaving room for individual interpretation. Both of your takes on the meaning are absolutely in the sweet spot of what the ladies have said the song is about. The band has said the song is intended as a caution about the need to be aware of the manipulation coming at us through social media. The song is written the separate voices of two opposing views fighting over this issue. One of them is trying to manipulate the masses and the other one is trying to wake them up. This device is used in several The Warning songs.
I enjoyed your reaction format and that you both put actual thought/analysis into your comments, unlike a lot of reactors out there. Subbing for more of that and more The Warning please.

I’m glad you started with a live performance - I actually prefer The Warning live rather than their music videos (even though those are typically impressive too). The energy and emotion hits differently live (in my opinion).

The first time they I have heard them, I thought "a Mexican Nightwish!". They are much more but they still remind me of the intensiveness of the more energetic Nightwish songs.

@@myindieprodentertainment I agree they are different. I meant the energy of the Warning is similar to Kinslayer or I Wish I Had an Angel. Mostly the ones with two lead singers, it seems.
I agree, this is very much higher quality than what is being released today.
Strangely, with all the artists we've been introduced to since launching the show, we have discovered so many new (to us) artists who are releasing VERY high quality music today. Just shows that we've been asleep for over a decade when it comes to international music after getting discouraged by the quality of music being consistently low for a while before that. We are definitely happy we got into this and are so appreciative of everyone who has supported and is supporting the show. A humbling and absolutely awesome experience. Stay tuned for more!

Been this band for over 10 years now, and this song is off their 3rd full length LP. They was 17, 20, & 22 in this video taken Aug 22 in Mexico City, in front of a sold out enthusiastic crowd. This power trio was raised Bi-Lingual, and all 3 sing, and play multiple instruments. They are currently on a world tour, and doing the North American leg, then heading to Europe for 18 shows, and opening for Muse on 5 of them. A new single called "More" was just released today, and should be a radio hit. Try Enter Sandman from this same concert to see how they made Metallica proud, and included it on the Blacklist LP.
And they got the idea for the song while in Canada in late spring of 2019.

Here is what Paulina, the drummer and who writes the majority of the lyrics said about Disciple
So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don’t even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that’s what Disciple is about. I saw a lot of people confused with the video, like “why are you the system and you’re telling people to kill the system?”, well we’re not the system, we (the military characters in the music video) are someone who is buying your opinion without you even knowing about it. So Disciple was a whole process to write about, but I’m so happy with the song and it’s a topic I’m really passionate about, so go stream Disciple, go check it out, the video was so much fun to record and it’s a good song, it’s so much fun to play, I find it really funny that I’m saying that it’s a good song, it’s my song, but it was really one of my favorite songs to write, I put a lot of thought into it and Daniella and I worked relentlessly to get everything across, so glad people are enjoying it.

An instant legendary hard rock concept album telling the story of the main characters journey from unrequitted love to obsession, madness, murder and death. So Disciple is about social media and how opinions are bought on social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know. And how by breeding ignorance and cultivating hate people gain a lot of power and money. So that's what Disciple is about. I saw a lot of people confused with the video, like “why are you the system and you're telling people to kill the system?”, well we're not the system, we (the military characters in the music video) are someone who is buying your opinion without you even knowing about it. So Disciple was a whole process to write about, but I'm so happy with the song and it's a topic I'm really passionate about, so go stream Disciple, go check it out, the video was so much fun to record and it's a good song, it's so much fun to play, I find it really funny that I'm saying that it's a good song, it's my song, but it was really one of my favorite songs to write, I put a lot of thought into it and Daniella and I worked relentlessly to get everything across, so glad people are enjoying it.

Disciple is often considered a sequel to their song XXI Century Blood from their first album and is about social media and believing all that you read there, not to follow automatically without thinking for yourself, use your own mind to make your own decisions. They are young but have been performing as a band for many years and have been playing music since they were 3 years old, though that was classical piano. They are extremely talented, humble and just full of passion and energy. They have a great old school rock sound with a modern freshness about it that really resonates with many of us old school rockers, but also appeal greatly to all ages. Up until the song "More" which released just last week they wrote all their own lyrics and music. They have a fantastic Concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene", a rock novel that is very dark and brilliantly performed and written; abut a girl who becomes infatuated with someone, stalks , kidnaps and subsequently murders him. The story is told from the perspective of within her own mind as she struggles with her good and evil side and who should be in control.
Their latest album Error containing this song Disciple is a great rock album but also contains song soul piercing ballads, beautifully written and sung by both Dany and Pau. To this date they do not have a single bad song in their catalogue IMHO and even their covers of Enter Sandman, Atlas Rise, The Foo Fighters The Pretender and many others are on par or better than the original, again IMHO. I hope you enjoy diving into their history as much as we enjoyed following them as they created it. It has been amazing to watch these three talented sisters grow, not just in age but in skill and confidence, musicianship. It was also fun seeing Ale who was for the longest time the smallest, grow to be the tallest of all three of them; though she was always equal when it came to her skill to both Pau and Dany.

The Warning is the real deal Holyfield. I have seen them 3 times in concert now and they are incredible live. They have such a large discography for being a young band. They don't have a bad song.

Pau has been writing since she was 13 and is responsible for the concept of most of the songs but they are all involved in the arrangement and sound. All three write and all three sing Danny is the lead singer about 70% Pau does around 30% of the lead Ale can do lead as she has the range of both sisters and is pitch perfect but doesn't like doing it (she is a little introverted but comes alive on stage). Ale does do lead when one of the sisters has an issue and has a few videos of her singing live and the crowd loves it. All tree sisters do backing vocals and harmonies.
The Warning loves seeing how people interoperate their songs as we all have different experiences. When they wrote Discipline it was referring to social media and that's a topic they reference many times. Finally if you do go down the rabbit hole, I am sure you will love it. They have over 50 original songs 3 albums (2 independent and number2 was a concept album) and 2 EP's.

All three of their albums currently in release play like greatest hits compilations - not a bad song anywhere in the mix. This is especially true of the most recent album, ERROR, from which this sone comes. They have almost 50 original songs at present. They have also released a cover of Enter Sandman, a collaboration hey did with pop artist Alessia Cara that appears of the Metallica Blacklist album. You mention Japanese bands, they are fans of Band-Maid. Last year, while both bands were playing at a festival in California, they met for the first time. And we learned that Band-Maid is also fans of The Warning. Very cool.

I´ve seen these ladies live a couple of times and they are better than in their recordings, which is rare.

Is it just me, or are the ladies taking over the rock and metal mantle lately, and kicking the blokes butts in the process? 😅 My three favourite bands currently are all female - Lovebites, Band-Maid and The Warning, go figure?
I recall my first exposure to The Warning (other than the legendary Enter Sandman cover when they were kids, literally) was to live performance fan cam videos from Mexico, with fairly poor audio quality. Even so, their talent and energy shone through, and it was obvious they were heading for the big time.
Its nice to see these recent live videos with top notch visuals and sound mixing; as you mentioned, it makes them seem like rock veterans, reinforced by confidence and stage presence.
I recommend the live studio session of Evolve (rather than the MV, which is also excellent). It's a real banger of a track.
I hope their World Tour eventually includes Aus, I'm definitely going to catch them live if they play in Sydney. Cheers guys.

This band is a rock and roll renaissance, making rock and roll for all ages. You'll see young kids mixed with boomers like me at their concerts. Pau is the spider at the center of the web. In some ways, the band revolves around her. While their songs are collaborations, Pau is the one who puts it all together, doing the arranging on piano (all three girls are classically trained on piano) and writing a good deal of the lyrics. Their musical interests are wide-ranging. They are particularly familiar with the rock genre, and even when you're hearing one of their songs for the first time, it feels strangely familiar.
I'm 76 and the great heyday of the classic guitar bands happened during my college years. Cream, The Beatles and Stones, The Who, and Led Zeppelin. I saw all of those bands live except LZ, and believe me, these three talented chicas have a bigger, beefier sound and put on a much better show.
By the way, Pau, the drummer sings on some songs. She has a great voice.

Their parents are music lovers and when they were very young they would all get on the couch for their family time and listen to live concert recordings of AC/DC, Queen, Metallica and similar bands so yes, they are familiar with music from an earlier era. Of course all three started out playing classical music for the piano & the piano is still the instrument most of their songs are initially written on before they get together, add the rock elements and flesh the songs out. Their personal musical tastes are very diverse. They will finish up the first leg of their world tour in the US this month then it is off to Europe in June for awhile; still adding dates.
That is awesome! It sure explains why they gravitate to an old-school rock sound with a modern twist. We heard they are touring with Muse... Wow! That should be an awesome show! Unfortunately we are in Israel (Asaf) and Australia (Itai). They are bound to get to our necks of the woods at some point... we guess.

First time visiting/watching one of your video, came for The Warning, part of the Army (The Warning Army). Like your reaction and can see how you arrive at your interpretations. You picked probably the best version of that song to react to, since it has the most energy and shows what The Warning can do live. EVERYONE has has seen them live says they sound better LIVE than on their records and that was the best version you will find on the internet, I believe they got the audio straight from the mixer that's why the crowd is audible but not loud. I just saw them live 9 May in Denver for the third time. They are great live. It's my favorite rock band.

I think that if these girls started making music in 1993 instead of 2013 they would have been one the biggest bands in the world. We'd be talking about them the way we talk about the Foo Fighters or Metallica. Sadly because of the way modern mainstream sounds go towards a very specific style, it is very hard for hard rock (or rock period) to get that bigness.
They are ridiculously good. 2010-2020 had some great rock bands. Like The Warning, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, plus metal like Babymetal and Release the Archers. Not mention bands like Pale Waves and July Talk that have an interesting sound. Add in more Pop bands like HAIM, Jain, Sigrid, Aurora... and the 21st Century Teens really was a Decade of Female Vocalists. But all in music that in the 80s and 90s would have been 10 times bigger than they ever could be today.
If you like old school Rock, with themes whose lyrics bring current situations in the world, as well as a meaning that everyone can interpret. The Warning is a band that offers, in addition to their talent as musicians, energy and excellent compositions, many hours of enjoyment.
