Well it ain't a thermal but for under a $150 this Bushnell rocks and I agree - mo is better! One at the homestead, one in the pack, one in the truck....and I can still save up for a 'Predator UAV'!
Okay, you've peaked my interest! Going to start researching.... This looked surprisingly good. I've tried two budget night vision devices and sent them both back. They were both in excess of $150 and highly disappointing. Thanks for sharing!
If the digital date in the camera video is correct, January 6, 2022 would have been a waxing crescent moon at 06:08 timestamp (4AM) with very little ambient light.
Outstanding. I have one of their other models and it does pretty good for the money.

exactly! give these to the folks on night watch. then if they see something they call out the qrf with the thermal scopes.

I can't believe the amount of night vision reviewers that don't actually show the device in use during the *night*...
to be fair, its hard to do unless you have the right equipment.
It’s ok for observation. I think you should Al also have thermal monocultures. Plus some decent close quarters night vision
exactly. the idea is to put these inexpensive units in the hands of nightwatch persons. cant afford to give everyone thermal scopes.
Another great video. Seems to work better than the Sionyx one.
I feel throwing one of those $100 “perst” IR laser on the pic rail with a micro tripod would make a pretty nice upgrade package
Yep. Good for call outs
well arent you prescient! look for a new video showing i did just that.
My wife bought me one and works well
ive added something to it to make it work even better. be tuned in for the update
"Poachers Anonymous Bridge"
you remember!
Holy cow, how full was the moon when you shot that? This new generation of digital night vision is really exciting.
well, crap. that would have been a good thing to pay attention to.
Haha, sounds like it might be another video in the works

Just curious but does that sucker have a fixed zoom? Specifically with its lowest magnification setting.
